Seahawks Announce Fan Activities for Sunday's Game

The Seattle Seahawks announced today fan activities for the Sunday, November 22 game versus the San Francisco 49ers.

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today fan activities for the Sunday, November 22 game versus the San Francisco 49ers. All gates open at 10 a.m. and kickoff is at 1:25 p.m.

Volunteers from Rainier Scholars will be distributing the Seahawks Gameday Magazine for $5 as part of the Spirit of 12 Partners program. All proceeds raised will be matched 100% by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.

During halftime, the team will host the 2015 Wiener Dog Races for Rescue, which benefits Old Dog Haven a network of private homes helping Western Washington's most seasoned dogs.Throughout the year, these local dachshunds have participated in qualifying races to earn the right to compete at CenturyLink Field. The winner will receive a custom dog bed, gift card from The Pro Shop and "barking rights" as champion. The team will also make a donation to Old Dog Haven in their name. American Family Insurance Touchdown City, located in the CenturyLink Field Event Center, is free and opens at 10 a.m. Seahawks Legend and honorary co-captain Steve Largent will be signing autographs starting at 11:30 a.m. at the American Family Insurance Legends Experience. The local band Two Story Zori will perform reggae music on the main stage from 11:20-11:50 a.m. and from 12:20-12:50 p.m. Fans will also be able to tour the Safeway Tailgate Experience, an 18,000 square-feet area of complimentary food and games. Additional activities include the following:

  • Two 13'x 24' large high definition/high resolution screens so fans can watch other NFL gameday action
  • Interactive games and contests
  • Photo opportunities
  • Airbrush tattoos and hair painting
  • Performances by Sea Gals and Blue Thunder
  • Sea Gals autograph booth
  • Appearances by Blitz and BOOM, Seahawks mascots
  • Opportunity to take images with Taima, team's augur hawk
  • The Pro Shop kiosks
  • 710 ESPN featuring live reports and pregame analysis
  • Season long food and beverage specials including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs

The team's #12sCam will stream live video of fans from Touchdown City from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. The #12sCam captures the mood and excitement of gameday and provides a platform for fans to share messages, cheers and shout-outs to players, coaches, family and friends.

DJ Phase from Seattle's 106.1 KISS FM will perform on the outdoor stage located at the northwest entrance to the stadium from 11-11:35 a.m. and from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Whiskey N' Rye will perform roots rock music in the Brougham Beer Hall from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Courtyard Marriott, the Official Hotel of the NFL, will host a free tailgate party starting at 10:30 a.m. at the northwest entrance along Occidental Avenue South. The tailgate party will feature complimentary snacks, activities including a 40-character dash, courtesy sunglasses and a visit from a Seahawks Legend from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Seahawks fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early to enjoy game day activities and avoid any traffic or parking delays. A transportation guide is available at:

Uber will offer Seahawks fans an alternate transportation option for this Sunday to benefit the Spirit of 12 Partners. Visit the Uber app to schedule a trip, going to or from CenturyLink Field on Sunday utilizing Seahawks option, and Uber will donate $3 per trip - up to $12,000 - to the Seahawks Spirit of 12 Partners, including Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington State Association, Camp Fire Snohomish County, Rainier Scholars, Treehouse and YMCA of Greater Seattle. Fans that are new to Uber are invited to enter the promo code GOSEAHAWKS in the Uber app to receive a $20 discount off their first trip.

The gameday hashtag is #SFvsSEA. Fans are encouraged to check-in to "CenturyLink Field" on Facebook and tweet their gameday photos to @12s, an account curated by the Seahawks, using the hashtag #GoHawks.
