Seahawks Announce Fan Activities for Sunday's Game

Volunteers will be collecting nonperishable food items and cash donations for Northwest Harvest

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today fan activities for the Sunday, October 18 game versus the Carolina Panthers. All gates open at 10 a.m. and kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. 

The Seahawks, Delta Air Lines and Northwest Harvest encourage fans to bring nonperishable food items or cash donations.  Volunteers will be stationed at all gates to accept contributions.  Donations are also being accepted online at www.northwestharvest.org and via text.  Fans interested in donating via text should send "ENDHUNGER" to 80888 to make a $10 donation to Northwest Harvest (the charge will be added to phone bill).  Northwest Harvest is the only independent food bank distributor operating statewide, with a network of more than 360 food banks, meal programs and high-need schools.

Volunteers from Camp Fire Snohomish County will be distributing the Seahawks Gameday Magazine for $5 as part of the Spirit of 12 Partners program. All proceeds raised will be matched 100% by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. 

American Family Insurance Touchdown City, located in the CenturyLink Field Event Center, is free and opens at 10 a.m.  Seahawks Legend and honorary co-captain CB Keith Simpson will be signing autographs from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the American Family Insurance Legends Experience. The local band Notorious 253 will perform pop and dance music on the main stage from 11:20-11:50 a.m. and from 12:20-12:50 p.m.

  • Airbrush tattoos and hair painting
  •   Performances by Sea Gals and Blue Thunder
  • Sea Gals autograph booth
  • Appearances by Blitz and BOOM, Seahawks mascots
  • Opportunity to take images with Taima, team's augur hawk
  • The Pro Shop kiosks
  • 710 ESPN featuring live reports and pregame analysis
  • Season long food and beverage specials including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs

The team's #12sCam will stream live video of fans from Touchdown City.  The #12sCam captures the mood and excitement of gameday and provides a platform for fans to share messages, cheers and shout-outs to players, coaches, family and friends.  The live video feed will be streamed on Seahawks.com from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The band Rewind will perform '80s music on the outdoor stage located at the northwest entrance to the stadium from 11-11:35 a.m. and from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Bill Brown and The Kingbees will perform swing music in the Brougham Beer Hall from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

The gameday hashtag for Sunday's game is #CARvsSEA. Fans are encouraged to check "CenturyLink Field" on Facebook and tweet their gameday photos to @12s, an account curated by the Seahawks, using the hashtag #GoHawks.
