The Seattle Seahawks (6-4) take on the San Francisco 49ers (7-3) for Week 12 at Lumen Field. Take a look at what local and national media are predicting for Sunday's game. Click here to learn how to watch, listen, and stream the action.
Victoria Hernandez, USA Today: 49ers 24, Seahawks 16
"Lumen Field is one of the toughest environments in the NFL and the 49ers will be thankful that the Seahawks have so many injuries. San Francisco just lost Talanoa Hufanga to a torn ACL, but other key players are recovered from their injuries and they shouldn't have a problem getting the holiday win."
Safid Deen, USA Today: 49ers 27, Seahawks 13
"The Seahawks offense is battered with Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker and Tyler Lockett dealing with recent injuries. That's bad news for the Seahawks with the 49ers at full strength again. San Francisco wins decisively."
Jordan Mendoza, USA Today: 49ers 26, Seahawks 16
"The status of Geno Smith and Kenneth Walker III will be a big factor in this matchup. If they are good to go, Seattle has a chance. If not, it can be a long day for the Seahawks. Regardless, the 49ers are rolling right now, and they get another double-digit win to strengthen their lead in the division."
Bill Bender, Sporting News: 49ers 27, Seahawks 13
"The impact of the Chase Young trade has given San Francisco a boost. The defense has forced six turnovers in victories against Jacksonville and Tampa Bay. Nick Bosa has 2.5 sacks and five quarterback hits. Brock Purdy is back to playing turnover-free football, and Christian McCaffrey started a new TD streak last week. The 49ers are catching the Seahawks at the right time. Geno Smith (elbow) and Kenneth Walker III (oblique) are dealing with injuries, and Seattle might be forced to turn to Drew Lock and Zach Charbonnet in the backfield as a result. It's still two tough NFC West defensive involved here, however.
The Seahawks are 2-1 ATS as an underdog and can lean into that home-field advantage. San Francisco is 0-3 ATS when favored between 7-10 points. Still, we'll take the healthier team on offense."
Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: 49ers 28, Seahawks 19
"This is a huge division game for two teams that have had a good rivalry over the past decade. The Seahawks are coming off a bad loss to the Rams, while the 49ers are coming off two dominant victories. Geno Smith is banged up, so his health is key. The 49ers have the look of a Super team again. They show it here."
*Ali Bhanpuri, NFL.com: 49ers 27, Seahawks 18 *
"Until the Seahawks stop with the self-inflicted errors, it will be hard to trust them against quality opponents. (And I really want to trust them!) Mix in a banged-up Geno Smith under center and an injured Kenny Walker likely on the sideline, and you have the makings of an unhappy holiday for the 12s. Although Kyle Shanahan has struggled against Pete Carroll in his career (including a 2-4 mark in Seattle), Brock Purdy is a perfect 2-0 against the 'Hawks, and the dude is feeling it right now. Last week, he became the first quarterback since Drew Brees in 2018 to post a passer rating of 148 or more in back-to-back games. While this one gets away from Seattle, I suspect Carroll will be thankful he won't have to wait too long for the rubber match against his NFC West rival -- perhaps that time with his full complement of players."
Mike Florio, NBC Sports: 49ers 28, Seahawks 17
"The Seahawks are the kid who thinks he has finally figured out how to ride a bike. The next four games will show them otherwise."
