What happened: The Cardinals fell to the New Orleans Saints, 48-41, in Week 15.

  • Running back David Johnson was a bright spot for the Cardinals in their high-scoring 48-41 loss to the Saints yesterday. Johnson, who is fourth in the league in rushing, became the first player in NFL history to top 100 yards from scrimmage in 14 consecutive games to open a season. 
  • Johnson is exactly 200 receiving yards away from posting 1,000 yards on the ground and through the air. 
  • The Cardinals let go of former Seahawks defensive back Tharold Simon.
