Kenneth Walker III had a big game in Thursday night’s win over the Rams, and flashed some serious speed while doing it.

Kenneth Walker III was one of many standouts in the Seahawks' thrilling Thursday night win over the Rams, totaling a season-high 164 scrimmage yards, including a 55-yard touchdown run and a 46-yard reception.

And as has always been the case for Walker, his speed was a big factor in that playmaking ability.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Walker hit 21.07 miles per hour on his touchdown run, the fourth fastest speed of his career and his fastest since 2023. That's also the second fastest speed by a Seahawks ballcarrier this season behind the 21.11 speed clocked by Jaxon Smith-Njigba on his 61-yard touchdown catch vs. the Jaguars.

Walker would actually hit an even higher speed later in the game, reaching 21.09 miles per hour while chasing down Rams cornerback Josh Wallace to make a touchdown-saving tackle. The Rams would find the end zone after that, so the tackle didn't make much of a difference in the outcome, but it was an effort play that Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald still loved.

"Talk about favorite plays of just who Ken Walker is, I mean, that's Seahawks football," Macdonald said. "That's us right there and that's Ken. So we love him. That's a phenomenal, phenomenal play. Helped us win the game."
