The Seahawks already know one significant game on their 2022 schedule, a Week 10 trip to Munich, Germany to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but on Thursday they and the NFL's 31 other teams will learn their entire 2022 schedules when they are announced at 5 p.m. PT.

In a new twist this year, teams will announce their home-opener ahead of the full schedule, with that news coming at 3 p.m. PT, so keep an eye on Seahawks.com and the Seahawks social media channels for that news.
With the NFL expanding to 17 games in 2021, the Seahawks will play nine home games this season after playing an extra road game last year. As a reminder, the Seahawks' opponents are already known:
- Home: Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Falcons, Panthers, Broncos, Raiders, Giants, Jets
- Away: Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Saints, Chiefs, Chargers, Lions
- Munich: Buccaneers
In addition to their usual slate of games against the NFC West, the Seahawks will also face the AFC West, the division they called home from 1977 to 2001, renewing old rivalries with the Raiders, Broncos and Chiefs. Of particular interest will be Denver's trip to Seattle, which will feature Russell Wilson facing his former team at Lumen Field. Bobby Wagner, another all-time Seahawks great, will also face his former team this season having joined the Rams this offseason. The schedule release also will reveal how many times the Seahawks will play in prime time, having played at least four prime-time games in each of the past nine seasons under Pete Carroll and John Schneider.
