Forsett and Lulay Join Practice Squad

The Seahawks have released running back Matt Lawrence and receiver Trent Shelton from their practice squad and replaced them with running back Justin Forsett and quarterback Travis Lulay.

Renton, Wash. –The Seattle Seahawks have released running back Matt Lawrence and wide receiver Trent Shelton from their practice squad and replaced them with running back Justin Forsett and quarterback Travis Lulay, the team announced this afternoon.

Forsett was Seattle's first of two seventh-round draft picks (233rd overall) in this year's NFL Draft before being released after camp. He was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts and played in three games, returning 11 kickoffs for 248 yards with a long of 28.

Lulay originally signed with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 1, 2006 but was released after camp and did not play in 2007. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints on May 13, 2008 but was released on July 18 before the start of training camp.
