The Seahawks have been a quality source of fantasy football production at the running back position throughout most of franchise history. Shaun Alexander and Marshawn Lynch were the biggest fantasy stars in team lore, and other RBs such as Curt Warner, Chris Warren, Ricky Watters and Kenneth Walker III also shined brightly during their years in Seattle. Chris Carson, John L. Williams and Rashaad Penny also are among those who deserve honorable fantasy football mentions.
Now, 2026 first-round draft pick Jadarian Price gets to join a very distinguished club, as he should immediately come in and make his impact felt in both real life and fantasy football in 2026. We examine him as a fantasy prospect in both dynasty and seasonal formats, and also list our top 25 rookies from the 2026 class.
Seahawks RB Jadarian Price: Fantasy Football Scouting Report
One of the Seahawks' most apparent needs heading into the 2026 draft was at the running back position, and fantasy football players eagerly awaited the end of the first round to see if they would go for the top RB available. Price's Notre Dame teammate Jeremiyah Love was already drafted third overall, and Price was considered the one other potential fantasy starter as a rookie if he landed in the right situation.
Price did get the call from the Seahawks to finish off the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and now his name will be called regularly over the next few months in fantasy football drafts. In dynasty leagues, the 23-year-old may be selected in the middle of the first round in upcoming rookie drafts.
In seasonal leagues, he might be drafted just outside the top 20 at RB, pinpointing Price as a possible No. 2 fantasy starter at the position in his first pro campaign. He certainly ended up in a rather fantasy-friendly situation with the Seahawks.
From the scouting perspective, Price will challenge defenses with his excellent vision and balance, nifty cutback moves and ability to add more yardage when he breaks into the open field. "One of his super talents is his ability to cut back and crease it. He has home run speed; he has a lot of explosive runs," said Seahawks GM John Schneider.
Fantasy players will give Price starting consideration from the outset in 2026. He might initially share some touches with offseason acquisition Emanuel Wilson and returnee George Holani. Once Zach Charbonnet returns from last season's knee injury, he and Price can conceivably complement each other as frequent ball carriers.
For dynasty players, Love and Price are the only two RBs that may be drafted in the first round of rookie drafts. Now in a promising situation for his fantasy outlook, Price could be a top 5 to 6 overall pick in rookie drafts. The incoming group of 2026 rookies is loaded with WR talents, while no other players at RB will be certain picks in the top 12.
Whether you draft Price in a dynasty rookie draft depends on your pick slot and team needs. In dynasty leagues, fantasy players carry over the majority of their roster from season to season, so Price may function as a quality starter at RB for several years. Love will be the likely first pick in most rookie drafts, and the top 3 to 4 WRs may go off the board before Price could be taken at a top 5-6 slot.
If your team is already deep enough at WR and is thin at RB, consider landing Price's dynasty fantasy rights anywhere from the fourth pick on, depending on how pressing of a need RB may be. You can also mull over trading up to secure Price as your first pick if your current first-rounder is slotted from 6 to 12. The next RB won't be taken for several picks after Price is drafted, so keep position scarcity in mind as a significant factor when making your decision.
In upcoming seasonal drafts this summer, Price should be drafted as a second RB starter, in the range of veterans such as Javonte Williams, Breece Hall and Bucky Irving. He may settle in as a third-round draft pick in many yearly leagues.
It should benefit Price to join an offense that is already prolific and features an offensive line that truly grew into a successful unit in 2025. Last season, the Seahawks featured a top 8 offense in yards per game that was very balanced and leaned on the running game quite often. The 'Hawks had the highest run percentage of any NFC offense in 2025.
Jadarian Price jerseys are already available in the Seahawks Pro Shop if you want to pick him in a rookie draft and show your support for him in his first NFL campaign.
Fantasy Football Rookie Rankings 2026: Top 25 Players
Players are ranked with an emphasis on dynasty value and long-term potential, and we also include some important notes for seasonal leagues and other scoring formats. This year's incoming fantasy class is WR-heavy, so you can always move players from other positions up the board based on specific roster needs.
1. Jeremiyah Love, RB, Cardinals: You can't pass on him with the first pick, as Love should eventually become a fantasy superstar. He has drawn comparisons to Detroit's Jahmyr Gibbs.
2. Carnell Tate, WR, Titans: He will enter the league as an unrivaled No. 1 WR for his new team and can maintain that status for several years as he develops a good rapport with Cam Ward.
3. Jordyn Tyson, WR, New Orleans Saints: Some draft analysts viewed him as the best player at his position in the 2026 NFL Draft. Playing with and learning from Chris Olave is going to be very beneficial for this upside target.
4. Makai Lemon, WR, Eagles: There are some projected changes coming to the Philadelphia WR room, and Lemon can start right away as a rookie. He is a significant yardage after the catch threat. Lemon could be one of the best new sources for receptions in PPR leagues in 2026.
5. Jadarian Price, RB, Seahawks: He has some eventual RB1 promise. Price will become a valuable fantasy RB2 very quickly in his first pro season.
6. KC Concepcion, WR, Cleveland Browns: The Browns are still figuring out their QB situation, but whoever starts will look to Concepcion often as a downfield playmaker.
7. Omar Cooper Jr., WR, New York Jets: The Jets drew rave reviews for their 2026 NFL Draft performance, and Cooper can become the long-needed No. 2 WR the team has been searching for. He should at least have a fantasy WR2 ceiling over the next few years.
8. Kenyon Sadiq, TE, New York Jets: In recent seasons, some young TEs have burst onto the scene to become instant impact fantasy starters. Sadiq certainly has the abilities to become the next early-career success story at his position. In leagues with TE premium scoring, he is a top 5 dynasty pick.
9. Eli Stowers, TE, Eagles: Philadelphia might have found its future replacement for Dallas Goedert as a new era beckons for Jalen Hurts among his pass-catchers. Stowers might start to make more fantasy noise in his second pro season.
10. Fernando Mendoza, QB, Raiders: In superflex formats, where you can start two QBs, Mendoza is a top 2 overall pick. The Raiders will continue to build a quality offense around Mendoza, although he will go undrafted in seasonal leagues where one starting QB is required.
11. Antonio Williams, WR, Commanders: A good landing spot for Williams, as Washington was looking to stabilize the WR2 spot.
12. Denzel Boston, WR, Browns: Cleveland attempted to bolster the passing game early in their draft, and Boston does have some good TD potential because of his size (6-foot-4, 212 pounds).
13. De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, 49ers: Could be a good value pick in the second round of rookie drafts, as Stribling might eventually prove to be a prime target for Brock Purdy.
14. Ty Simpson, QB, Rams: You may have to reserve Simpson for at least a year, but those building for the future with a win-now roster in dynasty leagues can be patient. Simpson is a fine stash in an optimum situation to sit and learn.
15. Chris Brazzell II, WR, Panthers: A nice fit as a speedy complement to Tetairoa McMillan.
16. Malachi Fields, WR, Giants
17. Kaytron Allen, RB, Commanders
18. Chris Bell, WR, Dolphins
19. Ted Hurst, WR, Buccaneers
20. Jonah Coleman, RB, Broncos
21. Zachariah Branch, WR, Falcons
22. Germie Bernard, WR, Steelers
23. Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, Ravens
24. Elijah Sarratt, WR, Ravens
25. Kaelon Black, RB, 49ers
