12 Numbers Of Note From The Seahawks' Week 7 Win In Atlanta

Twelve numbers that help tell the story of Sunday’s win over the Seahawks.

The Seahawks bounced back from a three-game losing streak in a big way on Sunday, earning a 34-14 road win over the Falcons thanks to big plays on both sides of the ball. With the win, the Seahawks improved to 4-3 and are now back in first place in the NFC West. In addition to that 20-point margin of victory, here are 12 numbers that help tell the story of Sunday's win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

3

Takeaways for Seattle's defense, which forced just one turnover in the previous five games before Sunday.

36

The length of Derick Hall's fumble return touchdown, the first touchdown he has scored since he was in high school, he said. It was also Seattle's second defensive touchdown in the last three games, with Rayshawn Jenkins scoring on a 102-yard fumble return.

2

Touchdowns scored by Kenneth Walker III on his 24th birthday, one rushing and one receiving. It was just the second receiving touchdown of Walker's career and marked the first time he has had receiving and rushing touchdowns in the same game. Walker is also the first Seahawk with a rushing and receiving score in the same game since DeeJay Dallas in Week 8 of the 2020 season.

110.3

Geno Smith's passer rating, his highest since a Week 7 win over Arizona last year. Smith has also now thrown at least one touchdown pass in 11 straight games after throwing two yesterday.

18 and 28

Completions and attempts for Geno Smith, his lowest totals in both categories since the Week 1 win over the Broncos, the result of the Seahawks playing from ahead and having more offensive balance. Through seven games, Smith still leads the league in completions (191), attempts (279), and yards (1,985).

35

Length of Jaxon Smith-Njigba's pass to DK Metcalf on a trick play, the longest completion of the game for either player.

5

Completions of 20 or more yards for the Seahawks. The Falcons had allowed only eight passes of 20 or more yards in their first six games prior to Sunday.

1

Interception for Coby Bryant, the first of his career and one that felt long overdue after he had two taken away by penalties during his rookie season, one against the Chargers that was negated by an offsides penalty called on Uchenna Nwosu, and one against Arizona that was wiped out by an illegal contact call on Quandre Diggs, who Bryant said he'd be texting after the game to (jokingly) say he was glad Diggs wasn't on the field this time to take away the interception.

59

Length of Jason Myers' fourth-quarter field goal, his 20th field goal of 50 or more yards since joining the Seahawks, and his third this season. The kick marked his longest field goal since 2020 when he made a 61-yarder, and it was also the longest field goal made at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which opened in 2017.

5

Interceptions by safety Julian Love in his last 12 games dating back to Week 14 of last season, including a fourth-quarter pick in Sunday's win.

4

Sacks this season for Boye Mafe, one short of Derick Hall's team lead. Mafe's sack and forced fumble Sunday was one of the key plays of the game, setting up Hall's touchdown return, and with that sack, the Seahawks are one of five teams, along with the Giants, Vikings, Broncos and Browns, to have at least two players with four or more sacks.

22

Second-half rushing yards, on 11 carries by Falcons running back duo Bijan Robinson and Tyson Allgeier after those two combined for 117 yards on 15 carries in the first half.
