In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of King County, the Seahawks are working to engage youth and teens through interactive leadership programming and opportunities to empower their peers and communities.
Sahale and Logan from the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County were the proud recipients of $2,500 scholarships thanks to BECU!
Sahale is a junior at our North Seattle site and currently serves as Secretary of the Keystone Club. She is also a prospective Youth of the Year candidate. Sahale has been a dedicated member of the Clubs since her time at Bagley Elementary, where she began her journey of growth and leadership. Through her involvement in programs such as Torch Club, Keystone, and GameChangers, she has developed strong team-building skills and a deep sense of confidence. Sahale credits these experiences with helping her step outside of her comfort zone and emerge as the leader she aspires to be.
Since joining the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club in Kindergarten, Logan has grown into a thoughtful, articulate leader within his community. Now a junior, he has spent the last two years with GameChangers and continues to play an active role in Keystone, where he hones his leadership and collaboration skills. Logan is known for his ability to engage his peers in meaningful discussions and approach challenges with insight and maturity. He credits the Club's leadership programs with shaping his perspective and helping him build the confidence to lead with purpose.
