NFL FLAG gives young athletes of all skill levels the opportunity to learn, play and, most importantly, have fun and enjoy the game. Whether you're starting a new league or team, coaching a team or have a child joining an existing NFL FLAG league, it's easy to get involved and a great way to get girls and boys ages 5 to 17 playing football.

The Seahawks are among an exclusive list of NFL teams to partner with USA Football this spring to host a series of free webinars for local youth coaches. These video webinars provide insight and direction to help youth leagues deliver fun and positive football experiences when football responsibly returns to play.

In celebration of youth football and spreading a love for the game, the Seahawks Blue Friday Night Lights program featured the following 2019 match ups: Kennedy vs Bethel, Bellevue vs Garfield, Skyline vs Eastlake, and Kent-Meridian vs Mt. Rainier. The Seahawks gameday entertainment elements to four high school football matchups this fall.
At each of the featured games, mascot Blitz, DJ Supa Sam, Blue Thunder and Seahawks Dancers joined the fun, while a Seahawks player or Legend participated in the coin toss. The Seahawks also conducted a 12 Flag raising ceremony prior to kick-off, so below videos for each featured gameday.
Seahawks helped launch the Seattle office of Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) in 2016. PCA achieves its goals by providing training workshops to coaches, parents, and administrators of schools and youth sports organizations. Nearly 1,500 free multimedia resources for coaches, parents, athletes, and leaders.
Each week during the high school football season, the Seahawks and the Washington State Football Coaches Association select two high school football coaches as the Coach of the Week winners. Each recipient receives a $500 donation to the school's football program plus a framed certificate signed by Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll.
The NFL Foundation Grassroots Program provides non-profit, neighborhood-based organizations with financial and technical assistance to improve the quality, safety and accessibility of local football fields. The program is a partnership of the National Football League Foundation, which provides funding, and LISC, which provides technical assistance and manages the program.
NFL Flag Powered by USA Football provides opportunities for boys and girls ages 5-17 to play non-contact football and learn lessons about sportsmanship and teamwork, while also getting their 60 minutes of daily physical activity.
As the sport's national governing body and member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, USA Football partners with leaders in medicine, child advocacy and athletics to support positive football experiences for youth, high school and other amateur players.
