Seattle Seahawks Delta Community Captain

Captain Dave Dunlap was recognized as a Delta Community Captain on October 4th at the Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Chargers game. Captain Dunlap is an Airbus A350 Captain with Delta Air Lines, bringing nearly four decades of leadership, operational excellence, and aviation expertise to the profession. Since joining Delta on May 20, 1988, he has served in several key leadership roles, including Chief Pilot in Seattle and Line Check Pilot on both the Boeing 737 and Boeing 717 fleets. Recognized for his deep technical knowledge and commitment to developing others, Captain Dunlap has played an instrumental role in advancing safety, operational performance, and pilot mentorship throughout his career. Complementing his extensive aviation background is a unique multidisciplinary perspective, holding degrees in both English and Music, which enriches his leadership style and communication approach. With a distinguished career spanning more than 38 years, Captain Dunlap continues to exemplify the professionalism, dedication, and servant leadership that define Delta Air Lines.

Angelina Villalobos was recognized as a Delta Community Captain at the Pioneer Square First Thursday Art Walk on October 1st. As this year's Seahawks Pro Shop Latino Heritage Collection artist, Angelina uses her work to celebrate culture, identity, and community. She recently created a large-scale mural honoring Latino heritage, with artwork that reflects the stories, traditions, and contributions of the community. Through her vibrant and meaningful creations, Angelina inspires connection, representation, and pride while helping make the arts more accessible and impactful throughout the region.

Mark Putnam was recognized as a Delta Community Captain on August 7 at the Level Up Celebration hosted at the Matt Griffin YMCA. As Vice President of the YMCA of Greater Seattle's Social Impact Center, Mark leads programs that provide housing, behavioral health, and supportive services to thousands of youth, young adults, and families each year, while also bringing a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and community impact.

Nichol Ellis was recognized as a Delta Community Captain at Seahawks Training Camp on July 31st. Nichol serves as the Community Engagement Manager for Camp Korey, bringing decades of dedicated camp and volunteer experience to her role as a storyteller and advocate for the camp's magic. In her position, she connects with service clubs, assists at various events, and coordinates large corporate volunteer projects to share the transformative impact camp has on children with medical conditions, their families, and volunteers. Deeply passionate about building community, she thrives on bringing people together and spreading joy both on and off the campgrounds.

LA Kendall LaBree ("Kendall") was recognized as a Delta Community Captain on stage at PrideFest. Kendall is a longtime Pacific Northwest event producer, mentor and activist. Wearing many hats, she's the Founder and COO of Kendall's DJ & Event, Director of Operations for Do Something Already (an LGBTQ+ advocacy non-profit), and Deputy Director of Seattle PrideFest, an organization she's served for nearly twenty years.

Sonya and Eric Vraves were recognized as Delta Community Captains on Tuesday for their contributions as first responders in Kittitas County. Sonya and Eric were nominated through Quiet Cadence, a non-profit focused on serving first responders in Eastern Washington.
