Future of Football is Female

Girls Flag Football teams across the state are gearing up for the first officially sanctioned season starting November 25, 2025.

The Seahawks hosted 16 high school girl flag football teams to compete in the High School Girl Flag Football Championships the Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association voted to make girls flag football an officially sanctioned high school sport.

The Seahawks visited Tacoma, Kent and Renton to mic up participants in the Seahawks Flag Football League. Check out the sights and sounds from these flag football games.
