FareStart Partners With Seattle Seahawks And First & Goal Hospitality

FareStart partners with Seattle Seahawks, First & Goal Hospitality and other local organizations to provide up to 50,000 meals per day to King County's most vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Seattle Seahawks Charitable Foundation partnered with Microsoft to provide 300 Surface Go 2 devices and pens, plus new internet hotspots, to support technology needs at Boys & Girls Club of King County as they provide child care to essential workers throughout the pandemic.

Matt Lorch of Q13 FOX tells the story of Evan Manfredo who had a wish to meet the Seahawks and through the collaboration between the Seahawks and the Make-A-Wish Foundation he was able to meet them as a robot.

Our third flag raiser of the year is Odessa Brown Children's Clinic, located in Seattle's Central District. The clinic was selected for their efforts to provide medical, dental, and mental health services to families living in low-income areas in King County, serving nearly 15,000 children each year.
