• Played in 10 games with Seattle in 2024, leading, or tying, for the team in tackles seven times. Also played six games for Tennessee, and posted 100 tackles for the third-consecutive season.
• In his first start for the Seahawks vs. Buffalo (10/27/24), tied career-high with 15 tackles.
• Jones spent his first three seasons with the L.A. Rams (2021-23) before being traded to Tennessee prior to the 2024 season. Before joining Seattle he played in 52 games with 38 starts, collecting 360 tackles (201 solo), 5.5 sacks, three interceptions, 14 passes defensed and one forced fumble.
• Posted back-to-back 100-plus tackles in 2022 and 2023, including a career-high 4.5 sacks in 2023.
• Set the Rams single-season franchise record with 145 tackles in 2023.
COLLEGE: In three seasons at South Carolina (2018-20), became a Butkus Award semifinalist after recording 199 tackles in just 26 career games. He made 21 starts with 10.5 tackles for loss, a pair of sacks, two interceptions, five passes defensed, six quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. As a junior in 2020, Jones played middle linebacker and was the vocal leader of the defense at South Carolina. He was named one of four team captains and earned fourth-team All-SEC honors from Phil Steele. He started each of the first nine games and led the team in tackles for the second- consecutive year with 86 stops. He notched a career-best 19 tackles at LSU, the most tackles in a game by a Gamecock since Roy Hart had 19 stops at Nebraska in 1987.
PERSONAL: Jones graduated from Ware County High School in December of 2017 where he logged 112 total tackles (70 solo) and six tackles for loss as a senior for the Gators. He also accounted for 2.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and five quarterback hurries in his final campaign. Jones was a first-team all-state Class AAAAA selection and was the 59th-ranked outside linebacker prospect in the country and 84th-best overall prospect in Georgia, according to 247 Sports national composite rankings. He was named to the PrepStar All-Southeast Region team. Majored in public health.
