COLLEGE: Transferred to Oregon after three seasons at Duke, was an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection in his one season with the Ducks, appearing in 14 games with eight starts while recording 45 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups and one interception. In his four-year college career, started 34 of 51 games, totaling 173 tackles (93 solo), 8.0 sacks, three interceptions and 19 passes defensed.
PERSONAL: Was a consensus three-star prospect at Newton-Conover High. Rated as the No. 55 recruit from North Carolina and the No. 121 cornerback in the country by 247Sports Composite. Totaled 44 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble in 13 games during his senior season while helping Newton-Conover reach the state playoffs with an 8-5 record. Also lettered three years in track, winning the regional 100-meter dash. His father, Wayne, played football for four seasons at Lenior-Rhyne (1991-94), while his mother, Alanda, played basketball at Lenior-Rhyne, eclipsing the 1,000-point mark and finishing her career as the program's all-time steals leader with 336. Graduated from Duke with a degree in sociology.
