Seahawks Donate To Youth Achievement Center

Thanks to a technology assist from Microsoft, staff and youth from a pair of local nonprofits, Creative Justice and Community Passageways, were able to chat with players in the tunnel before warming up at Lumen Field on January 2, 2022 as part of the Seahawks' Social Justice game vs. the Lions.

Russell Wilson's community service efforts have been numerous and varied, a big reason he has received the 2020 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award and 2022 Bart Starr Award. Take a look at photos of Wilson in the community from throughout his time with the Seahawks.

Seahawks interns visited the ROOTS Young Adult Homeless Shelter for their day of service. They helped organize donations, take inventory, and cleaned up around the shelter.

Seahawks Legend Thomas Rawls and Blitz helped Campbell's® Chunky® Soup donate 2,000 bowls of Campbell's Chunky Soup to Mary's Place, a nonprofit organization in Seattle that provides shelter and services for women.

Seahawks players, along with Blitz, visited the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic to spread some holiday cheer. In addition to spending quality time together, the kids also received Seahawks teddy bears thanks to Build-a-Bear.

Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner helped surprise a USO family to thank them for their service and present them with the Delta Community Captain award. In addition to the surprise visit, the family received tickets to an upcoming Seahawks game, a roundtrip flight with Delta Air Lines, and other swag.

Members of the Boys & Girls Club of King County were at the Verizon Lounge at Lumen Field on Monday evening for a panel with stadium teammates on career paths in sports beyond the field.

Take a look at Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett in the community, both in the Seattle area and beyond, throughout his NFL playing career. Lockett was named the Seahawks' 2021 nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, given to a player for his excellence on and off the field.

Seahawks players, dancers, and staff will wear custom designed cleats and shoes supporting causes they feel passionate about during Week 13 vs. the San Francisco 49ers on December 5.
