The Seahawks attended the 2026 Boys & Girls Club Summer Field Day at Seattle University on August 20, featuring football drills, games and activities with the Seahawks Community team and Seahawks Dancers.

The Seahawks granted five wishes with Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington through a week full of Seahawks surprises including a welcome dinner, private stadium tour, training camp practice, and a culminating gameday experience at Lumen Field on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The Seahawks partnered with USAA to host the 14th annual Change of Command event on August 11 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

Mark Putnam was recognized as a Delta Community Captain at the Level Up Celebration on August 7th at the Matt Griffin YMCA. Mark serves as Vice President of the YMCA of Greater Seattle's Social Impact Center, where he oversees trauma-informed housing, behavioral health, and supportive services for youth, young adults, and families. Under his leadership, the Social Impact Center now serves approximately 6,000 youth and young adults annually and provides housing for nearly 500 people each night. Beyond his professional leadership, Mark is deeply connected to community through neighborhood volunteerism and a lifelong love of sports, bringing both a systems-change lens and a grounded, people-first spirit to his work.

Seahawks Legend Cliff Avril joined community leaders, local officials, and development partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Pointe at Thomas Apartments in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The project, led by C&A Development, will bring 67 affordable homes to the community and reflects a long-term commitment to expanding housing opportunities for working families across the region. The event highlighted the power of partnerships and community investment in addressing housing needs throughout Seattle.

Nichol Ellis was recognized as a Delta Community Captain at Seahawks Training Camp on July 31st. Nichol serves as the Community Engagement Manager for Camp Korey, bringing decades of dedicated camp and volunteer experience to her role as a storyteller and advocate for the camp's magic. In her position, she connects with service clubs, assists at various events, and coordinates large corporate volunteer projects to share the transformative impact camp has on children with medical conditions, their families, and volunteers. Deeply passionate about building community, she thrives on bringing people together and spreading joy both on and off the campgrounds.

The Seahawks supported the inaugural high school girls flag football experience at YMCA Camp Casey on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The third Hawk Walk with Talk A Mile traveled to the YMCA at West Seattle and Fauntleroy for another incredible walk and talk with students, community partners, and members of the Seattle Police Department. Legend Ray Roberts and Seahawks Dancers also joined the walk to share encouraging messages around being true to yourself, and taking care of your mental health.

The Seahawks traveled to Alaska for a weekend of community engagement, with Blitz and Seahawks rookies Andre Fuller and Uso Seumalo joining to connect with local youth and community organizations. From supporting education, mental health, and girls flag football initiatives in Anchorage and Wasilla to experiencing Alaska's outdoors in Seward, the trip highlighted the power of community partnerships across the state.

The Seahawks hosted their first-ever Girls Flag Football College Showcase on July 11, 2026 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

LA Kendall LaBree ("Kendall") was recognized as a Delta Community Captain on stage at PrideFest on June 28, 2026. Kendall is a longtime Pacific Northwest event producer, mentor and activist. Wearing many hats, she's the Founder and COO of Kendall's DJ & Event, Director of Operations for Do Something Already (an LGBTQ+ advocacy non-profit), and Deputy Director of Seattle PrideFest, an organization she's served for nearly twenty years.
