Head Coach Sean McVay

Really hats off to our group for finding a way. Obviously, that's an excellent football team. They get all the credit that they deserve. You could feel they were a physical, tough football team. I can't say enough about what a great job our defense did to be able to get four interceptions. [Safety] Kamren Kinchens, [Cornerback] Darius Williams, [Cornerback] Cobie Durant, stop after stop. What a job by [Punter] Ethan Evans to be able to pin them inside deep at the end right there forcing them to have to go the length of the field to even get in position to kick a field goal. And then man, what a great opportunity for us to be able to learn some things offensively. We started off the game… I thought we started off pretty well. Ended up only having three plays in the second quarter. We had some things that we can really learn from in terms of early down efficiency. You get behind the sticks against a great defense like that… but we're never going to apologize for finding ways to be able to win. This is a resilient group. Love what I saw from our defense. I thought special teams made their plays and did an excellent job with the five times that we did have to punt. There are going to be some learning opportunities that we can have, but I'm grateful to be a part of this team. I love the way that they just stay connected. They stay together. They're never out of the fight. Defense and special teams did an excellent job and we made enough plays offensively. I thought [Running Back] Kyren [Williams] ran really well. Started off the game, then we kind of got into a lull, had some guys get banged up, but it's a great defense. They did a great job and we'll learn from it and take it from there.

On an injury update for S Quentin Lake
He got his elbow. Not sure exactly what it is. I'll have more information for you guys tomorrow.

On the emotions in the locker room
Oh, man, it's awesome. Here's the thing that I love, these guys, they stay connected. There's so much work that goes into being able to get that and it was really the next step in our journey that we're on. Whether we came up short and they make that field goal or whether we end up winning, there's nothing like celebrating with those guys, being able to learn and continue to grow. But I love that team and it's a lot of fun in there. I think you can hear that too.

On if he thought the defensive pass interference call on CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr. was correct
Why would you ask me? Are you trying to bait me? You going to get me fined right there? Doesn't matter what I think. I'm not the ones making the call. So ultimately, I'm just glad we came away with the win today.

On the success of the defensive line without recording a sack
Oh, they were effective. That's why I say stats are for losers because they affected and influenced the game in a huge way. Obviously, [Quarterback] Sam [Darnold] is a great quarterback, but he was getting off of his spot. I thought a lot of the pressure that we did get is what led to some of the decisions where our guys ended up making some great plays to be able to get those four interceptions throughout the course of the day. Really proud of that group. I think the defensive staff, [Defensive Coordinator] Chris Shula, the defensive coaches, can't say enough about the job. We have been excellent in the red zone. I'm really proud of that group, but I thought our front had a big impact on that game even if the sacks didn't necessarily show up.

On the field position set up by P Ethan Evans and the team win as a whole
It was big. It was awesome to be able to see special teams… you're not taking for granted making all the extra points. We needed every single one of them today. I thought Ethan… I think we punted five times. He did a great job on those. He had to speed up his delivery on a couple, but the protection was really good. [Wide Receiver Rashid] Shaheed's a dangerous returner and so we kind of had a specific approach that we wanted to take. But what a job by Ethan. We made enough plays. It would've been nice to be able to finish with the ball in our hands. It was a great job by [Wide Receiver] Puka [Nacua] on the first run on the jet sweep. It's a great defense. I've got a lot of respect for those guys. We're going to grow from this, I promise you that.

On what's impressed him about the DBs growth
Well first of all, I can't say enough about the leadership from [Assistant Head Coach/Pass Game Coordinator] Aubrey Pleasant. Obviously, [Safeties Coach] Chris Beake does a great job as well, but being able to pour into these guys and then ultimately the players are the ones that are delivering in big ways. I think Cobie Durant has been so solid, so steady. It's been great being able to get [Cornerback] Darious Williams back out there and how fun it is to see the growth of [Cornerback] Emmanuel Forbes Jr.? He's competitive, tough, and I think he's tackling well. Cobie's playing complete football and it was great to be able to get Darious out there. He made a couple key and critical plays. He's always been a guy that just finds the football. I think in a lot of ways, really the back end as a whole…what a job by Kamren Kitchens. I thought [Safety] Kam Curl had a great game. What a credit to [Cornerback] Josh Wallace coming in. I mean, [Safety] Quentin Lake is such a glue guy for our team, the amount of things that he does, and you have to give Josh Wallace his credit for coming in and doing an excellent job for us,

On what he learned about the team today
I learned that we can find different ways to win. We leaned on the defense. They got the turnovers. We were able to capitalize on some of the short fields. Obviously early in the game, you go right down the field and you don't convert on that fourth down, but then we end up coming back the next drive and doing that off of Kam's interception. What I learned is this group is what I thought in terms of resilience. They stay in the fight. They stay connected no matter who's picking up the weight and I think that's a recipe for good things. We'll take it a day at a time. We'll look at this film, we'll clean it up and excited to be able to get ready for our next one.

On what it was like to hold them to field goals
I think I could just speak for the team. I'm proud of our football team overall. I'm proud of the way that our defense made the plays that were necessary just to be able to impact and influence the game for us to be able to come out on top with the points. I love the way that they did it. I think the offensive guys are going to be excited about their opportunity to be able to learn and grow. That's a great group that they went against today, but I know that we can play better. There are certainly some things that I can do a better job for us collectively, but I'm proud of our football team. We're not going to apologize for finding different ways to win.

On what he saw the last play from the Seahawks with one second left
I think [Referee] John Hussey always does a great job. He said the guy gave himself up and so that left one second off. I'm not too upset about it because they missed the kick (laughter).

QB Matthew Stafford

On how he describes the win
It was a total team effort, man. Holy cow. Our defense played outstanding. They turned the ball over a bunch of times. They were great in the red zone. I thought our special teams was great again. What a punt there late in the game to make them go however far they had to go there to try to get an attempt at a field goal. All those yards mattered. On offense, obviously I wish we would've scored on that first drive down there in the low red. I can make that throw. I have to make that throw. I got the guy up off the feet like I wanted to and then just didn't make the throw. They had a nice plan. They did a nice job against us. There are definitely things we can clean up here and there, but we battled. We just have to find ways to end the game with the ball in our hands. That's what we always want to do. We had our opportunity to do it. We didn't get it done. That's frustrating. But shoot, we found a way to win without playing perfect football against a really good football team so I'll take it.

On the energy in the locker room after the win
It was great and rightfully so. Sometimes it's not perfect. You'd love to go out there and complete a bunch of balls, go up and down the field, do all those things and play perfect football. That's not the way it is. I think our defense played outstanding. They deserve to be partying in there like crazy for sure. It's fun. It's a great group. We understand that there are things to clean up always when you win or lose. I'm excited for our guys. That's a big win against a really good team that was playing as good as anybody in the NFL right now. To come in there and put up a defensive effort like that was pretty special.

On his reaction to the field goal attempt
Relief, I guess. I'm just glad it didn't have the legs to get there. I don't know if it was wide right or whatever, but I felt early off the foot it wasn't going to have enough. I don't like those situations. We'd much rather be taking a knee. We had our chance and didn't earn the opportunity to do that so that's something we can always work on. We've been good at that this season. We weren't good enough tonight.

On seeing RB Kyren Williams' long runs today
It was great. It was awesome. I feel like they've been close all year and we've been really efficient running the ball. We were explosive tonight, which was really cool. Our guys did a nice job. They were big plays for us early on. They were playing some defenses where it felt like if we got through, we could make some plays and those guys did that.

On whether being on top of the NFC West makes this game any more significant in retrospect
No, I still feel like it's every game. Mentally, I'm excited we won this game. I can't wait to clean it up and move on, you know? That's just the way the NFL season is. That's the way it goes. I'm ready to move on to whoever we have next and how can we be better? How can I be better for our guys? How can we be better to score more points and make it easier on our defense? That's my mindset. I'm obviously excited that we got the win. Don't get it twisted on me here but at the same time, I know I can be better too.

On whether he can take a positive away by not making any crucial mistakes
I think that's probably age, growth and understanding our defense has got a really good thing going. They're playing really well. Let's make sure we don't make it hard on them tonight. Obviously, we'd love to connect on a few more and put up some more points, but you have to find a way to win the game and that's what we did tonight. I tried to play my part in that. I can obviously be better in some instances. You have to feel the way the game is going sometimes and try to be that version of yourself, whatever you need for your team to win, and I felt like there were times when I was able to do that today.

On if he was aware that WR Davante Adams recorded his 1,000th reception today
I was not. He's doing all sorts of cool stuff so I can't keep track of it, but no. I'm obviously happy to be a part of his illustrious career. It's really cool to be able to throw to guys that have done such great things for such a long time.

On if the Seahawks did anything different defensively after the first quarter
No, not too much. I think we can obviously execute a little bit better and if we do that, we'll be fine.

On if the Seahawks having more time of possession put the offense out of sync
It was a strange game in that regard. I feel like in the first half, I think we had 25 plays. I think we might have had 12 of them in the normal field. It was like a bunch of red zone plays. It's great because our defense was getting turnovers and getting us in short fields, but it was a little bit of a strange game for us momentum-wise for us to get out there and see what was going on. Then we didn't sustain drives long enough there in the fourth quarter or really in the second half to also get into a rhythm. They did a nice job getting us off the field on third down in some of those instances. It was a strange game and we found a way to win it.

On how it's been watching Kyren Williams develop over the years
It's been great. He's been a great teammate ever since he's been here. I remember watching him in college. I was happy to have him when he got here and just watching him grow into the player and the person that he is, the leader. He's all about the right stuff and we're happy to have him.

Best shots from the Week 11 division matchup at the Los Angeles Rams.
