Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today - Tuesday, December 4 - about your Seattle Seahawks:

Action Green Unleashed

The Seahawks will be wearing a fan-favorite alternate uniform when they host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football at CenturyLink Field, where Seattle will don Action Green digs for the third time in franchise history. The team debuted the uniform combo two seasons ago for the NFL's Color Rush campaign and have worn it once each season ever since.

"It shows that we're different," wide receiver Doug Baldwin when the Seahawks first unveiled their all-green look. "We're a different team. We're a different animal. When you put on this jersey, when you put on these colors, you represent the Seattle Seahawks, and that means something. It's a little bit different than what anybody else can understand, but when you put on these colors you understand it when you're out there on the field."

The Seahawks own a 2-0 record when going green. Seattle last wore Action Green in Week 10 of the 2017 season, topping the Cardinals 22-16 in Arizona. In Week 15 of 2016, the Seahawks' first game in Action Green, the team earned a 24-3 home win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Monday night's game against the Vikings will mark the first time Seattle will wear Action Green against a non-NFC West opponent. Kickoff is set for 5:15 p.m. PT with national television coverage on ESPN.

Social Post Of The Day

Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from Seattle head coach Pete Carroll, who welcomes the NHL to Seattle. The league announced Tuesday that Seattle will become the NHL's 32nd franchise set to begin play in the 2021-22 season.
