Good afternoon, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Tuesday, October 10 — about your Seattle Seahawks:
Manu Tuiasosopo Elected To Polynesian Football Hall Of Fame
Seahawks Legend Manu Tuiasosopo was listed as one of the five inductees into the 2018 Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Class. Tuiasosopo, who is of Samoan ancestry, played with the Seahawks from 1973 until 1983 and joins Herman Clark, Ma'ake Kemoeatu and Kimo von Oelhoffen as player inductees, with Bob Apisa being included as a contributor.
In a statement, selection committee chairman Dick Tomey said the following: "On behalf of the Selection Committee, I congratulate the outstanding Class of 2018. Their accomplishments on and off the field make each of them truly worthy of this recognition."
The Polynesian Class of 2018 will be honored during the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement weekend that takes place January 19 and 20 in Oahu, Hawaii. The inductees will also be recognized at the inaugural Polynesian Bowl, a premier senior high school All-Star football game featuring the world's elite players of Polynesian heritage and other ancestries.
