Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Tuesday, February 19 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Best In The NFC West

Throughout the offseason, Pro Football Focus has been tweeting out 'overall grades' by position in each division. Over the weekend the Seahawks topped out some of the lists for the NFC West. Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark ranked first in the ‘top 5 edge overall grade’ with a score of 76.7 while running back Chris Carson beat out Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley in ‘top 5 halfback overall grade’ with a score of 85.3. Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner placed first and scored an incredible 91.9 in the ‘top 5 linebacker overall grade,’ which put him over 15 points ahead of the number two ranking.

Another first-place accomplishment the team can celebrate is center Justin Britt ranking first in PFF's ‘top 4 center overall grade' with a score of 55.3.

Seahawks fans should recognize that this year's acknowledgements from Pro Football Focus extend much further than just first-place rankings. Seahawks running back Mike Davis also made the halfback list scoring 75.6, putting him in fourth, while cornerback Justin Coleman placed fourth in ‘top 5 cornerback overall grade’ with score of 69.3.

Wagner also ranked first for off-ball linebacker in ‘highest graded players at each position in the NFL from Weeks 1-17,’ as well as eighth in 'the 101 best single-season performances regardless of position,' also known as ‘Pro Football Focus Top 101.’ Wagner wasn't the only Seahawk to make the top 101 list with quarterback Russell Wilson ranking 42, offensive tackle Duane Brown at 78, and wide receiver Tyler Lockett at 84.
