RUSSELL IS HAVING ANOTHER BABY. I REPEAT. ANOTHER. BABY.
Alright. I'm beginning to calm down now, however, I can assure you that this is the most important news you'll read all day.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson shook the social media world on Thursday morning as he put up a thumb-stopping photo across his social platforms.
At first glance, the post seems like your traditional selfie of your very own QB1, but as you examine that out-of-focus background and associate it with his caption, reading, "Number 3. @Ciara," you'll notice that it's Ciara so theatrically standing atop a rock in Turks and Caicos… AND SHE'S PREGNANT!
If you happened to follow the Instagram trail of bread crumbs to Ciara's profile, you'll notice she too recently posted (also on Thursday morning) with a similar caption and photo. Her image features a candid photo of herself atop a similar rock, but this time, she's in focus and her baby bump is much more visible.
I know, I know—I'm freaking out too. Now might be a good time to take a moment and collect yourself. The wonderful couple announcing their third child. I mean come on, it's perfect!
As you can imagine, the media picked up on the insinuated information fairly quickly and half of the clips below are related to the posts. A handful of Wilson's teammates showed their support for the happy couple commenting on Russ' Instagram post with a few quotes:
Duane Brown's, "Congrats! 👏🏾."
Justin Britt's, "Yessir! Congrats!"
And David Moore's, "🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾"
Even the official Instagram account of Wilson Football commented, "A new member joining #TeamWilson! Congratulations to you both! 🙌"
Keep your eyes out over Twitter and Instagram throughout the day as I wouldn't be surprised if other members of the Seahawks and the football community congratulate Russ and C. I bet you this story will stay on the news cycle for quite some time. Congratulations to Russell, Ciara, and the entire Wilson family!
