Snap Counts From The Seahawks' 24-10 Win Over The Philadelphia Eagles

A look at who played and how much they played in Seattle's Week 13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Curious who plays in each game and how much they play, as well as what the distribution of playing time might mean? Throughout the season, we'll post the snap counts for the Seahawks the day after each game and take a look at what stood out.

Here's a few notes from the Seahawks' 24-10 Week 13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles:

Offense

  • All five starting linemen, as well as quarterback Russell Wilson, played all 62 offensive snaps.
  • Paul Richardson was the leader in playing time at receiver at 84 percent, followed by Doug Baldwin (69 percent), who led Seattle with 84 yards on five catches, Tyler Lockett (47 percent), who had his first touchdown catch of the season, Tanner McEvoy (32 percent) and Amara Darboh (13 percent).
  • The Seahawks used all of their tight ends quite a bit, with Jimmy Graham playing 68 percent of the snaps, adding his ninth touchdown of the season. Nick Vannett played 53 percent, while Luke Willson played 32 percent.
  • Mike Davis had by far the biggest workload at running back, starting the game and playing 73 percent of the snaps following a one-game absence due to a groin injury. Facing the league's No. 1 run defense, Davis had the best game by a Seahawks running back since Chris Carson went on injured reserve, rushing for 64 yards on 16 carries and catching four passes for 37 yards. J.D. McKissic was next at running back with 15 percent of the snaps, while Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls played three snaps each. Guard Jordan Roos lined up at fullback for one play as well, a goal-line run that got stuffed at the 1-yard line.

Defense

  • Six defensive starters, Bobby Wagner, K.J. Wright, Earl Thomas, Bradley McDougald, Byron Maxwell and Shaquill Griffin, played all 75 snaps.
  • With the Seahawks playing primarily nickel defense, Justin Coleman was in for 83 percent of the snaps, while on the flip side of that, strongside linebacker Michael Wilhoite played only 15 percent of the snaps. Jeremy Lane played two snaps in place of Coleman.
  • The Seahawks had only seven defensive linemen active, which meant a busy day for several players, including starters Michael Bennett (88 percent), Frank Clark (77 percent), Jarran Reed (76 percent) and Sheldon Richardson (61 percent). Quinton Jefferson was next in the defensive line rotation at 35 percent, followed by Branden Jackson (32 percent) and Marcus Smith (31 percent).

Special Teams

  • Neiko Thorpe and Delano Hill both played a team-high 77 percent of the snaps, while D.J. Alexander returned from a shoulder injury to play 68 percent of the snaps along with Coleman, Wilhoite and McEvoy. Terence Garvin was next at 64 percent, while Vannett and Willson each played 55 percent of the snaps.
