RENTON, Wash. – The Seahawks announced today plans to host a special food drive at the team's Monday Night Football game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec. 18 at Lumen Field. In partnership with KING 5 and Safeway, fans attending the game are encouraged to bring non-perishable donation items to support the 23rd Annual Home Team Harvest campaign, presented by KING 5, Washington state's largest yearly food drive.

Lumen Field will have 12 donation bins located outside the stadium, including in front of all entry gates, for fans to easily drop off their donations prior to entering the stadium. Seahawks Legends, Blitz, Blue Thunder and Seahawks Dancers will make appearances at the collection point outside of Gate 3 on the Northwest end of the stadium. Gates will open at 2:00 pm for Ticketmaster Tailgate, 2:30 pm for Club & Suites and 3:30 pm for main gates. Kickoff is at 5:15 pm.

Suggested donation items with the greatest need include:

  • Diapers (all sizes/ages/styles)
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned Proteins (tuna, chicken, beans)
  • Pasta
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Pantry Staples
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Cooking Essentials
  • Baby Food

All donations will go to Northwest Harvest, the state's largest hunger relief agency. Northwest Harvest distributes food to every county in Washington, working with a statewide network of 400 food banks, meal programs, and schools. Northwest Harvest also works with partners across the region to address the systemic root causes of hunger.

Fans not attending the game can also show support for Home Team Harvest by donating online, or by making a donation at any Safeway or Albertsons store checkout stand, which funds grocery cards distributed to hunger relief agencies throughout Washington. Fans can also volunteer at their local food bank through the Back to Action campaign here.

Since 2001, Home Team Harvest has raised more than 100 million meals. The goal in 2023 is to raise enough for 23 million meals to help ensure all who are in need in our community have access to food.
