Seattle Seahawks Free Safety Earl Thomas Intercepts Carolina Panthers Quarterback Cam Newton

The Seahawks free safety recorded his second interception of the year in the first quarter of Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.

Earl Thomas has already doubled the number of interceptions he recorded all of last season.

One week after picking off Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton for Seattle's first interception of the year, the free safety snagged a second pick off Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the first quarter of Sunday's Week 6 game at CenturyLink Field.

Thomas' turnover helped open the scoring for Seattle, as kicker Steven Hauschka connected with a 30-yard field goal to cap a five-play, 21-yard drive.

Seattle's own Sir Mix-a-Lot raises the 12 Flag in front of a LOUD crowd at CenturyLink Field.
