Seattle Seahawks Free Safety Earl Thomas Intercepts Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Drew Stanton

Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas picked off Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton in the third quarter of Sunday's regular-season finale.

The Cardinals went with backup Drew Stanton to open the second half of Sunday's regular-season finale, and on the quarterback's first series he was intercepted by Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas.

The pick was Thomas' fifth of the season, the most of any player on Seattle's defense. It was also Thomas' 21st interception of his career and ties Marcus Trufant for sixth on the Seahawks all-time interceptions list.

The turnover helped set up a 52-yard field goal from kicker Steven Hauschka, points that pushed Seattle's lead to 36-6 in the third quarter.
