Earlier this year, the Seahawks launched a year-long 50th season campaign in celebration of the franchise's 50th season. Throughout the 2025 season, the Seahawks have celebrated their 50th season, honoring the history and legacy of the franchise since 1976.
This week, the Seahawks will host a variety of events and culminate the week with the 50th season celebration at Sunday's game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, presented by Coca-Cola.
The Seahawks will continue with the 50th Season celebration by hosting the 50th Season Garage Sale, presented by BECU and OfferUp at Lumen Field on October 2nd from 5-8 p.m. The sale will feature more than 1,000 historic collectibles from throughout the team's history and entry for the event is free with registration. 12s interested in attending can register here. The proceeds will benefit Impacting 50 Communities, presented by Safeway, an initiative aiming to impact 50 different communities in 2025 in honor of the team's 50th season.
On gameday, both the Seahawks and the Buccaneers will be sporting their Throwback uniforms, as the Buccaneers also celebrate their 50th season. The Seahawks' jersey will also have the commemorative 50th Season patch, that is unique to this season. The 12s can expect to see Throwback painted endzones, as well as a painted 50th Season logo on the field.
Before the game kicks off, a new wall inside of Lumen Field will be unveiled, honoring all 50 players who were named Top 50 Seahawks, voted on by the fans and the voting committee. The wall will be located at the Hall of Legends, next to Olympic Hall. Beginning at 11 a.m. in Ticketmaster Tailgate, the Top 50 Players will be welcomed back with a Blue Carpet Walk featuring a special performance by Seattle-artist, Sir-Mix-a-Lot, presented by AAA of Washington.
The Sea Gals and Seahawks Dancers will also celebrate their 50 seasons of history by hosting alumni from each decade and performing during pregame.
During halftime of the game, the Top 50 Players in Seahawks history will be honored with a special on-field ceremony, presented by AAA of Washington.
Throughout the rest of the season, 12s can still visit Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture to view the special pop-up display titled Seahawks 50: A Legacy in Blue and Green. The pop-up features the evolution of Seahawks uniforms and helmets over the years, including a variety of team artifacts and game-worn items.
And if you haven't grabbed your 50th Season gear for the game, the exclusive 50th season collection featuring apparel and headwear is still available now at The Pro Shop. Jerseys featuring the official 50th season patch are also in store.
