The Seahawks made a roster move Wednesday, adding running back depth ahead of their preseason opener. Seattle signed running back Gerald Holmes, an undrafted rookie out of Michigan State, and waived receiver Marvin Bracy. Â
Holmes, who is, 6-foot-1, 231-pounds, started five games for the Spartans last season and appeared in 11, rushing for 287 yards on 79 carries, and 80 receiving yards on eight catches. A Flint, Michigan native, Holmes rushed for a career-best 540 yards and eight touchdowns on 110 carries in 2015.
Bracy, a former Olympic sprinter, signed with the Seahawks last week.
