The Seahawks traded up in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and used that pick, No. 208 overall, to select Florida tackle Stone Forsythe.

Forsythe, who is 6-foot-8, 307 pounds, was a two-year starter at left tackle for the Gators whose strength is pass blocking. During his senior season at Florida, Forsythe gave up only two sacks and eight hurries in 513 pass-blocking snaps, according to Pro Football Reference.

While the Seahawks do return both of their starting tackles from last season in Duane Brown and Brandon Shell, as well as Cedric Ogbuehi, none of those three are under contract past the 2021 season, so adding to that group could be important for Seattle's future depending on what happens with that veteran trio after 2021.

To move up from pick No. 217 to 208, the Seahawks gave up their seventh-round pick, No. 250 overall, meaning their draft class will consist of just three players, barring a move to trade back into the seventh round.

  • Pick 56 (R2): WR D'Wayne Eskridge - Western Michigan
  • Pick 137 (R4): CB Tre Brown - Oklahoma
  • Pick 208 (R6): OT Stone Forsythe - Florida

With the No. 208 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected Stone Forsythe, an offensive tackle out of the University of Florida.
