The Seahawks return home to Lumen Field this week after winning their first game of the season and get set to face off against the 0-2 New Orleans Saints. The team will wear their all-college navy uniform set for this first time this season.
The all-college navy uniform set is the Seahawks' most commonly worn combo as the team has worn them 95 times since debuting them in 2012. The Seahawks have found success over the years while wearing this home uniform combination as the team has a record of 65-30 in them.
Seattle has worn these uniforms against the Saints four times including twice during the Super Bowl-winning season in 2013. The first meeting between the two teams that season was a Monday Night Football matchup where the Seahawks defeated the Saints 34-7, holding Drew Brees and the Saints offense to 188 yards of total offense. A rematch would occur later that year as Seattle hosted New Orleans in the Divisional round of the playoffs in which Marshawn Lynch's 140 rushing yards and two touchdowns secured a trip to the NFC Championship.
