If you were paying any attention to Russell Wilson's Facebook page on Wednesday, you likely saw the Seahawks quarterback engaging in a series of live videos with his 2.1 million followers.
It was part of a promotional campaign for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards, which Wilson will host for a second year in a row. One video, which is embedded for you above, featured Wilson chatting on the phone with Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller. Wilson lets Miller know he's up for 'King of Swag' at this year's event, an award Wilson won last year.
"Have some big news for my buddy Von Miller!" Wilson captioned with the post.
For the 'King of Swag' award, the Super Bowl 50 MVP Miller finds himself up against Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala, Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, and Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown.
Wilson, meanwhile, is the only Seahawk up for an award this year, competing alongside Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, and tennis pros Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams for the 'Best Cannon' in sports.
Voting opens Monday, May 23 at Nick.com and on the Nick mobile app with the Kids' Choice Sports Awards set to air at 8 p.m. PT on Sunday, July 17.
