Seahawks Legend Cliff Avril To Announce Seahawks Picks At 2026 NFL Draft

The NFL announced Seahawks Legend Cliff Avril will announce Seattle's Round 2 and 3 selections during the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.

On Thursday, the NFL announced Legends and players who will announce picks during Day 2 of this year's NFL Draft. For the Seahawks, Cliff Avril will announce picks for the Seahawks in Pittsburgh.

Over the course of four-plus seasons with the Seahawks, Avril recorded 34.5 sacks, 14 forced fumbles and 88 quarterback hits before his career was cut short by a neck injury four games into the 2017 season. Avril earned Pro-Bowl honors following an 11.5-sack season in 2016 and was also the team's nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award that year. He was also named a Top 50 Player in Seahawks history in 2025.

Right now, the Seahawks have four picks in this year's draft, No. 32 (Round 1), No. 64 (Round 2), No. 96 (Round 3) and No. 188 (Round 6).

The first night of the draft will begin in Pittsburgh on April 23 and run through April 25.

  • Friday, April 24: Rounds 2-3, 4 p.m. PST
  • Saturday, April 25: Rounds 4-7, 9 a.m. PST
