Seahawks Celebrate Return of Football with "Countdown to Kickoff"

Fans invited to join Party at the Pier event on Thursday, September 4

RENTON, Wash. – The Seahawks will celebrate the week leading into the team's milestone 50th season home opener with a special "Countdown to Kickoff." The festivities will include a Party at the Pier event at Pier 58 on Thursday, September 4, multiple community initiatives, and Blue Friday fun. The Seahawks will open the regular season at Lumen Field on Sunday, September 7 vs. the San Francisco 49ers, with kickoff at 1:05 p.m. PT.

The home opener will feature a special halftime performance from multi-platinum recording artists, Fitz and The Tantrums. The group has tallied over 4 billion streams and counting, powered by enduring hits including their 4x-platinum song, "HandClap."

Seahawks Party at the Pier

On Thursday, September 4, fans are invited to join the Seahawks at Pier 58 on the Seattle waterfront from 4-8 p.m. Attendees will enjoy special activities including meet & greets with Seahawks Legends, appearances from the Seahawks Dancers, Blitz, Boom, and Blue Thunder, gear for purchase from The Pro Shop pop-up, photo ops & giveaways, as well as food vendors and the Bud Light Beer Garden (21+). The event is free and open to the public.

Blitz & Kicks4Kids Delivers Back-to-School Shoes

Seahawks mascot Blitz and his Kicks4Kids campaign are taking part in the team's 50th season campaign, Impacting 50 Communities, presented by Safeway. To ensure kids have new shoes in time for back-to-school, Blitz will deliver more than 500 pairs of new shoes to community groups around the city throughout the week. Kicks4Kids is Blitz's charitable initiative designed to provide new shoes and support to kids and families in need.

High School Football Gameday Pep Rally & Cleat Giveaway

In celebration of high school football, the Seahawks will host a special gameday pep rally at Foster High School in Tukwila on Friday, September 5. The visit will include a donation of 100 Beastmode cleats to the Foster football team as they prepare for the season.

50th Season Flags Across the Region

The Seahawks will be rallying the 12s across the city all week with coordinated flag raisings of the special 50th Season Flag around town. Starting in Olympia on September 3, the Governor will raise the 50th Season Flag at the state capitol, and throughout the week the team will raise a variety of 50th Season Flags at landmarks and local businesses across the city.

Kickoff Sweepstakes presented by Bud Light

Starting today, fans (21+) can enter the Seahawks Kickoff Sweepstakes presented by Bud Light for a chance to win two tickets to the home opener against the San Francisco 49ers and a $250 gift card to The Pro Shop. Fans can enter to win through 11:59 PM PT on August 30, 2025.
