Seth Walder and Eric Moody of ESPN are both choosing the Seahawks to beat the Panthers in Week 14. "Smith has thrown multiple passing touchdowns in five straight games, which is the longest streak of his career and the longest active streak in the NFL."

Matt Verderame of Fansided has the Seahawks winning their second in a row beating the Panthers 24-19. "Seattle is in a tight race to make the playoffs, and if it's going to get there, the Seahawks have to beat teams like the Panthers."

Lance Pugmire of USA Today is taking the Panthers to beat the Seahawks on their own turf 24-21 in Week 14. "With Mayfield and Christian McCaffrey gone, Carolina rises unexpectedly here to display a spirited effort that compromises Seattle's playoff position."

Pete Prisco of CBS Sports NFL has Geno Smith continuing his excellence in Week 14 and beating the Panthers 31-17. "Geno Smith is playing outstanding football for the Seahawks, who would be in the playoffs if they started now. The Panthers are coming off a bye, but they are playing for nothing. This is a long trip for a team with little motivation. The Seahawks will win it behind Smith."

Aidan Maher of TWSN has the Seahawks as he feels the Panthers just do not have enough to keep up with the Seahawks offense. "Darnold to lead the charge of a successful offense through the air. Running the ball will lead to more offensive efficiency, while also giving Geno Smith and company less opportunities for explosive plays through the air. With that being said, the Seahawks are clearly the better team here, they're going to score points, and I'm skeptical as to whether or not Carolina can keep up. Could be closer than many anticipate, but the 'Hawks still fly to victory."

Enzo Flojo of ClutchPoints has the Seahawks doing "just enough" to win at against Carolina in Week 14. "They will have a tough task this week against the Seahawks and their top-10 passing offense, led by Smith, Metcalf, and Lockett. Overall, the Panthers will provide some exciting moments, but we still feel the Seahawks should get their eighth win of the season. That should put them in a prime spot to steal first place in their division."

On December 8, 2022, Seahawks local military community participated in a light physical fitness workout and huddle with Seahawks General Manager John Schneider, Seahawks Legends Paul Johns, Ben Obomanu, Lofa Tatupu, Orlando Huff, Edwin Bailey at Rebel Fitness. In addition, Marines from Toys for Tots were in attendance at the event.
