No Surprises In Seahawks Inactives At Rams

The Seahawks will be without four players in Sunday's game at Los Angeles due to injury.

LOS ANGELES—With four players ruled out heading into Sunday's game, there wasn't a lot of mystery about who would be available for the Seahawks' Week 5 game at Los Angeles, meaning Seattle's inactive list is free of surprises.

The only player listed as questionable, linebacker Michael Wilhoite, is active, but everyone else on the injury report was ruled out prior to the game: cornerback Jeremy Lane, running back C.J. Prosise and defensive ends Cliff Avril and Quinton Jefferson.

With Prosise missing a second straight game with an ankle injury, expect J.D. McKissic to again handle third-down back duties. Lane's groin injury means rookie Shaquill Griffin will get the start at right cornerback, while Justin Coleman, who had a pick-6 filling in for Lane last week, will serve as the nickel cornerback.

Defensive end Branden Jackson is active just a day after being promoted off the practice squad. Jackson gives Seattle extra depth on the line with both Avril (neck) and Quinton Jefferson (hand) sidelined by injuries.

Here are the inactives for both teams:

G Jordan Roos

T Isaiah Battle

Los Angeles Rams

QB Brandon Allen
