Starting today, Seahawks fans will have a new option for a Seahawks branded license plate. 12s with a vehicle registered in Washington State can buy a new plate through the Washington State Department of Licensing. The new plate will be in celebration of the team's 50th season and have throwback elements like royal blue, apple green and the iconic silver helmet. Funds from the license plate will benefit the Seattle Seahawks Charitable Foundation, an organization that has invested in youth and organizations locally since 1995.
How to buy a new license plate:
- Call a vehicle licensing office to confirm your correct plate fee;
- Fill out the Specialty License Plate Application;
- For standard plates, either mail the application along with check or money order with your fee amount to any vehicle licensing office; OR take in person to a vehicle licensing office. For personalized plates, either mail application and fees to Special Plate Unit, Department of Licensing, PO Box 9909, Olympia, WA 98507; OR apply in person at the King County Records and Licensing Services Office at 210 S Jackson St #206 in Seattle.
