For the third year in a row, Lumen Field and WAMU Theater have been named "Best Concert Venue" in the Seattle Times' "Best In The PNW" people's choice contest. Beyond being home to professional sports teams, this year Lumen Field and WAMU Theater hosted versatile artist and performers for different concerts. Lumen Field hosted Kendrick Lamar and SZA, The Weeknd and Playboi Carti. Kendrick Lamar's concert set the record for the highest grossing concert by a rapper at Lumen Field and sold a record 60,941 tickets for a hip-hop concert. WAMU Theater now has a variety of new experience enhancement components for concert goers including an upgraded bar and lounge space, and a new WAMU Theater photo op space.
The stadium's adjacent WAMU Theater offers a live music experience unlike any other. Directly attached to Lumen Field, WAMU Theater has hosted a wide range of artists including Odesza, Hozier, Jungle, Janelle Monáe, Olivia Rodrigo, Kehlani, and JOJI in a more intimate indoor setting.
In August, Lumen Field was announced as the winner for Best NFL Stadium and runner up for Best NFL Stadium Food in the USA Today 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards.
