Just in time for the Seattle Seahawks' 50th season, their home, Lumen Field is adding another accolade to its resume.
Lumen Field was named winner of Best NFL Stadium and was named runner up for Best NFL Stadium for food in the 2025 USA Today 10Best Reader's Choice Awards.
This is the second "Best NFL Stadium Award" in three seasons, with Lumen Field having won the award in 2023. Lumen Field is home to new technology which makes it one of the best. A few seasons ago, Lumen Field and the Seahawks announced their plan to modernize and upgrade various areas of the stadium over the next three years through Fanovation - commitment to fan-first innovation. This has included the debut of The Mitsubishi Video Boards, enhanced concession and retail areas powered by Amazon Just Walk Out technology, with 15 currently and more to come in 2025 - the most of any sports venue in the world, a premium food & beverage space called Cityside Bars providing sweeping lower-level views of the field, and the Tunnel Club, a new premium experience to be inside the player tunnel as they take the field. Additionally, in 2023, Lumen Field launched their new Food and Beverage Program called Home Taste Advantage, another addition to fan experience enhancement, and innovation. The latest additions to the stadium include updated suites and premium spaces, a Pro Shop remodel and a brand new Toyota Fan Deck stat board.
Along with having the best stadium, Lumen Field also has great food options with three Seahawks Legends kitchens, Legion by Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, Big Walt's Kitchen by Walter Jones, and Bam Bam Smash Burger also by Chancellor. Lumen Field prioritizes providing quality food with a variety of options and sourcing from local vendors within a three mile radius of the stadium.
It is not just the stadium itself that makes Lumen Field the Best NFL Stadium, but it is the fans – known as the 12s, who have created the identity of Lumen Field being one of the loudest stadiums.
"Great to be back at Lumen (Field)," coach Mike Macdonald said after a preseason game in August. "Thought the 12s were awesome for a preseason game. Place was rocking."
The passion, the cheers, the dedication, all brought by the 12s, paired with Lumen Field's innovative integrations creating an incomparable fan experience, make it the best NFL stadium. And the variety of food options make it one of the best NFL stadiums for food.
