Instant Lookback: Adrian Peterson Gets First Start, First Touchdown for Seattle

Running back Adrian Peterson scores his first touchdown as a Seahawk.

Newcomer running back Adrian Peterson scored his first touchdown as a Seahawk. Towards the end of the second quarter, Peterson caught a short left pass from Russell Wilson and ran in a 1-yard touchdown. Peterson signed with the Seahawks practice squad just this week was elevated to the 53-man roster over the weekend. Peterson has now tied Jim Brown for 10th place in NFL history with his 126th total touchdown.

Take a look at running back Adrian Peterson over the course of his NFL career. Peterson, who signed to Seattle's practice squad on December 1, 2021, has played 15 seasons in the league and is a seven-time Pro-Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro.
