Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Friday, November 29 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
Hutchinson, Watters, James
On Tuesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame revealed their list of Modern-Era semifinalists for the Hall of Fame's Class of 2020. The list was trimmed from 122 nominees to 25 semifinalists, and out of the 25 players on the semifinalists list, three of the names you would recognize as Seahawks Legends.
This notable three includes guard Steve Hutchinson and running backs Edgerrin James and Ricky Watters. Hutchinson, who played in Seattle from 2000 to 2005, finds his way on the list of semifinalists for the third year in a row after being a finalist for the Class of 2019. James also has been a semifinalist six times.
This list of players will next be cut down to 15 finalists in early January of 2020. After those cuts, the finalists will then be presented to the full 48-member Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee during its annual meeting on 'Selection Saturday,' the day before Super Bowl LIV.
Be sure to go vote for your favorite Seahawks Legends on the official website of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
