Giving Back To The Orlando Community
Pro Bowl week is a week unlike any other and the Friday of Pro Bowl week is a special one.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and cornerback Shaquill Griffin spent some time giving back to the Florida community on Friday morning. As a part of the 'Pro Bowl Community Huddle', Wilson and Griffin visited the NFL Flag Football Championships being held at ESPN Wide World of Sports. Russell Wilson stopped by each team to meet and greet the young athletes and spent a few moments talking with the different teams that came from around the globe.
Shaquill also spent some time visiting with different teams that traveled from around the globe to Orlando for the NFL Flag Championships, but it wasn't long before Shaquill also got in on the action. Griffin joined in during a Wounded Warrior flag football game offering some of his play-making abilities and gave out some championship-level advice during half-time of the Wounded Warriors flag football championship.
Friday of Pro Bowl week was filled with multiple other community events as well including Huddle for 100 at the Tupperware Branch Boys & Girls, Inspire Change Huddle For 100at the Children's Safety Village, Pro Bowl Fan Huddle, The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Huddle.
