The Lumen Field Arches

Travel Advisory: Weekday Traffic

The game, originally scheduled for Sunday, December 17, has been flexed to Monday, December 18 at 5:15 p.m.

Please plan ahead and arrive early to avoid weekday traffic. Consider carpooling or public transit options like Link Light Rail, ST Express Buses and Metro buses. Sounder game trains will not be available. View our Transportation Guide to plan your trip to Lumen Field.

Parking Options

On-Site Parking

The Lumen Field North Lot and the Lumen Field Garage are presold on a season basis. Parking on a single-game basis in these lots is not available.

Tailgating is not permitted on Lumen Field property. Fans interested in tailgating can find a number of lots a short walk from the stadium including a lot on 8th and Holgate, about a 10-minute walk south of Lumen Field

Disabled Parking

Two adjacent lots to Lumen Field, the North Lot and Lumen Field Event Center Garage, are sold out on a season basis. A very limited amount of disabled parking in the North Lot may be available on day of game and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. The Union Station garage on 4th Ave. is also available. The elevator at 4th Ave. & Weller Street Overpass will enable you to reach the stadium North Lot from Union Station and avoid stairways. A state-issued, disabled placard is required for disabled parking access.

Passenger Drop-Off

The passenger and disabled drop-off zone is located off the intersection of S Charles St. (formerly Railroad Way S.) and Occidental Ave, which can be accessed from 1st Ave. S. This area is located just across from the Lumen Field Pro Shop. Drivers may drop off passengers in this area until kickoff. Please let the patrolling officers know you are dropping off a passenger and they will grant access. Similar access will be provided after every major event.

RV Parking

The Lumen Field North Lot is not available for RV parking. For those fans interested in RV parking and tailgating, there are a number of lots a short walk from Lumen Field. Please see our downtown map for additional parking and tailgate locations or contact the Seahawks parking partner, International Parking Management at (206) 254-0811.

Non-motorized bike parking is available at the NW and NE corners of Lumen Field, at the southern edge of the North Lot.

Sounder Game Trains

From Lakewood and Everett with stops in between, the Sounder Game Trains will operate for most games with service to King Street Station, just a football field away from the stadium.

Sound Transit Link Light Rail

The Central Link Light Rail offers service from SeaTac to University of Washington. With two stations near Lumen Field, this service is a quick and comfortable way to travel.

Lumen Field Event Center Garage (2nd floor) and North Lot are equipped with electric vehicle chargers. Parking attendants are also available should you need assistance.

Sound Transit bus service offers transportation from areas throughout Pierce, King and Snohomish counties with service every 30 minutes and stops within 3 blocks of Lumen Field.

King County Metro and Bus Icon

Metro Bus Service

Metro also has you covered with over 15 daily bus routes that stop within 3 blocks of Lumen Field. Please note that Express Gameday Bus Service is no longer available. Metro Transit weekend service routes differ from weekdays, so please check schedules and plan your route prior to gameday. Be prepared for traffic delays in the downtown and SODO areas and expect crowded buses, both before and after the game.

Please note: Seahawks fans that normally use King County Metro Transit's Seahawks game day bus service from park-and-ride lots will need to secure alternate transportation.

The Seattle–Bainbridge ferry and the Seattle–Bremerton ferry operate from the Colman Dock (Pier 52) just blocks away from Lumen Field.

Amtrak Cascades Services

Amtrak Cascades Services has a major station right next to Lumen Field for all fans coming from Portland or Southwest Washington, as well as from Bellingham and the north. Book your tickets early, as game days on the train fill up quickly!
