Welcome to the 2026 Junior Seahawks Dancers!

We are excited for the first Junior Seahawks Dancers clinic this Saturday, June 27th starting at 9:45 AM PT. Important reminder - For Clinics 1 and 2, arrival and departure times and entrance location vary by age group to alleviate traffic at Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC). See below clinic dates and times. If you have more than one junior enrolled in the program, you may drop them off at the same time and registration entrance. Restrooms are only accessible by staff and junior dancers at VMAC. There are options off the same exit, if needed, for parents.

WHAT TO BRING: We will have a designated food break during the clinic. Please be sure to have a water bottle and enough food packed for the scheduled break. There will be water stations where water bottles can be refilled throughout the clinic.

ATTIRE: Athletic wear and tennis shoes. Bring a jacket to layer if needed. Breaks may be outdoors, so plan accordingly with attire and sunscreen.

PARKING: VMAC - Physical Address: 12 Seahawks Way, Renton, WA

Once you reach VMAC on 12 Seahawks Way, you will pass the first gate on your left-hand side and enter the second gate (North gate) where you will be asked for your junior's name that you are registered under at the security booth. Once entering the gates, please proceed to the parking area indicated on map below by age group. There will be parking attendants to help guide you in the right direction based on age group. Entry: Once parked, you will be directed to go through security on the North or East side based on age group.

SECURITY: New this year, all Junior Seahawks Dancers and accompanying parents/guardians will be required to pass through a security screening before entering the facility.

Important: To help expedite the screening process, please limit items brought into VMAC to your junior's dance bag and water bottle. Additional bags may delay entry for everyone.

For security reasons, please do not take photos or videos while going through the screening area.

Once screening is complete, signs/staff will direct you to the appropriate entrance to VMAC's Indoor Practice Facility using either the North or East doors based on your junior's age group.

Check In/Out

CHECK-IN: Once you enter the doorway, you will be greeted by Seahawks Dancers ready to check your child in. We will be checking juniors in by age groups, so please read signs as you check-in. Have your phone available to assist with check-in. Once you have checked your junior dancer in, you will see signs to exit on Seahawks Way. Parking and check-in will follow the same process for the June 28th clinic. More information and details for the 3rd clinic and gameday August 15th will be sent in a follow-up email.

CHECK-OUT:  You will follow the same parking process and enter the same entrance to checkout your child. See FAQ for another individual picking up your child.

2026 GAME DATE: August 15th at Lumen Field - Seahawks vs. Cowboys during Halftime (5:00pm game starts) *

Two game tickets included (1 junior dancer, 1 parent together)

*Gameday arrival and departure details will be provided closer to the game. Please plan to block the entire day, as your child will need to arrive early for pre-game practice and will stay through the halftime performance.

Junior Seahawks Dancers FAQs

What if I have another person picking up my child from the clinic?

At check-in you will be asked if another individual will be picking up your child and will be asked to authorize specific individual. They will be required to present a photo I.D. that matches the name you provided at check-in.

Are clinics open for parents to observe?

The clinics are closed practices for junior dancers, Seahawks Dancers and management.

When will uniforms be provided?

We plan to pass out uniforms at the Clinic 1 (June 27th).

What if my child’s uniform does not fit?

We will not be able to exchange uniforms, but you may get the uniform altered independently and/or exchange with another junior dancer if applicable.

When will I get access to music and videos for my child to practice?

We will provide a link to the music via email by end of day of the Clinic 2 (June 28th) at the latest. Videos of the dances will be added to the same music link soon after Clinic 2 so your juniors can practice prior to Clinic 3 (August 14th). We will notify you via email once uploaded.

When will tickets be provided?

The tickets with exact location will be provided by Clinic 3.

When will I be notified if I am selected as a chaperone? What is the time commitment?

You will receive an email by July 2 EOD and will be asked to fill out a background check shortly thereafter and additional forms with a deadline of July 17 at 5pm. If selected, you will be asked to be at an informational meeting at 10:00am during Clinic 3 on Friday August 14th. You will also need to plan to arrive at Lumen Field early on Saturday, August 15th (time TBD) until the last child has been checked out after halftime performance. If you are unable to commit to the entire day, please do not fill out form.

Can juniors use their phones during the dance clinics?

Juniors are allowed to bring their phones to the dance clinics. However, we ask that they do not use them during the breaks or the actual clinic to ensure everyone can fully engage in the fun packed day.

What if I am not the person dropping off my child?

At check-in, the person who drops off your child will need to check them in by the child's last name. They also must indicate who will be the one picking up your child.

How do I know what age group my child is in?

The age you indicated at the time of registration (child's age on 6/27/26), will determine the age group your child will be in (Shakers, Movers, Rockers) as well as their assigned arrival time. Please see above for each age group designation.
