Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson spoke at the Super Bowl Breakfast in Los Angeles, California on February 12, 2022 after receiving the Bart Starr Award, given to a player who exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community.

Bobby Wagner and Delta Air Lines teamed up to surprise Josiah with the Delta Community Captain Award and a weekend trip to the Super Bowl. Thanks to technology from Microsoft, including Microsoft Teams and Surface Hub, Seahawks players were able to host virtual pregame chats with cancer survivors and organizations making a difference in our community during several Seahawks games throughout the season.

After six seasons, the Seahawks and Windermere Real Estate have raised a total of $196,100 for their Tackle Homelessness partnership. All donations this season will go to Mary's Place, whose mission is to help families on their journey out of homelessness.

It was another great year for the Seahawks Game Changers program, concluding at the final home game of the year with a gameday experience for local Boys & Girls Club members. Game Changers presented by Symetra encourages Washington youth and teens to empower their peers and communities through interactive leadership programs, which included several meetings throughout the 2021 season.

Cherry Starr, wife of the late Hall of Famer Bart Starr, called Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to congratulate him on receiving the 2022 Bart Starr Award, given to an NFL player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community.

In support of the Sound Sanctuary program, the Seahawks, Bose, and quarterback Russell Wilson gave a local family a surprise experience, including a tour of the Bose Sensory Room at the stadium, a more inclusive space for all fans.

Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner and Delta Air Lines made a surprise visit with a USO family earlier this month to thank them for their service and present them with the Delta Community Captain Award. In addition to spending some quality time with the family, Bobby also presented them with a prize pack consisting of four tickets to see the Seahawks face the Lions on January 2 at Lumen Field, four round-trip Delta Airlines flight certificates, Seahawks jerseys, and other swag items.

Seahawks Legend Thomas Rawls and Blitz helped Campbell's® Chunky® Soup donate 2,000 bowls of Campbell's Chunky Soup to Mary's Place, a nonprofit organization in Seattle that provides shelter and services for women.

Another fun season of high school football in Washington is complete, and we're already looking forward to more Blue Friday Night Lights next year.

Seahawks Gameday Posters, designed in collaboration with Ames Bros co-founders Coby Schultz and Barry Ament, are created for every home game and sold to the general public, with proceeds benefiting a local cause. This year's program supports Urban ArtWorks, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage youth and communities in the creation of public art that inspires connections and honors their voices.

Thanks to generous 12s, hardworking Safeway Albertsons employees, and leadership from Russell Wilson, Safeway and Russell's Why Not You Foundation, a total of $2.7 million was raised to support pediatric cancer research at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett was named the Seahawks' 2021 nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, given to a player for his excellence both on and off the field.

On Thanksgiving eve, U.S. mayors from across the country express their deepest gratitude for what NFL clubs have done for their cities, including Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan.

Director of WA Department of Veteran Affairs Alfie Alvarado-Ramos raised the 12 Flag before the 2021 Week 11 game vs. the Arizona Cardinals on November 21 at Lumen Field. Alvarado-Ramos served 22 years of active duty before retiring as the Command Sergeant Major of Madigan Army Medical Center and Troop Command at Joint Base Lewis McCord.

Brigadoon Service works to provide service dogs for veterans, children and adults with physical, developmental, and behavioral health disabilities, to promote a more independent and enriched life. Their latest opportunity to help came with Staff Sergeant Siqueido and his son, Salem, who was born with Autism and would benefit from a service dog to help him with the daily functions of life.

Growing up with two parents in the armed forces, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Carlos Dunlap II understands the importance of supporting our servicemen and women. The Seahawks's Salute to Service game, presented by USAA, is November 21 vs. the Arizona Cardinals at Lumen Field.

Seahawks fan Clark Roberts may be blind, but that doesn't stop him from cheering on his team each week with some help from the voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible. Roberts had the opportunity to meet Raible for a surprise meet and greet at Lumen Field.

Former Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren raised the 12 Flag before the 2021 Week 8 game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 31 at Lumen Field. At halftime, Holmgren was inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor. Read more: https://shwks.com/jvakns
