Celebrating High School Football At Blue Friday Night Lights

Another fun season of high school football in Washington is complete, and we're already looking forward to more Blue Friday Night Lights next year.

Learn from the experiences and joy of 16 students from Seattle Public Schools who are enrolled in the WHOLE Mentoring program. They were joined by Bobby Wagner as they visited six HBCUs, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and much more this offseason. Seahawks Legends and staff, alongside Choose 180 staff, embarked on a weeklong trip to the south for a Black History learning tour confronting our country's history of racism. Led by Sankofa Impact, the group visited numerous southern cities to meet with Civil Rights foot soldiers and activists working in their community.

Seahawks Legend Thomas Rawls and Blitz helped Campbell's® Chunky® Soup donate 2,000 bowls of Campbell's Chunky Soup to Mary's Place, a nonprofit organization in Seattle that provides shelter and services for women.

Seahawks Gameday Posters, designed in collaboration with Ames Bros co-founders Coby Schultz and Barry Ament, are created for every home game and sold to the general public, with proceeds benefiting a local cause. This year's program supports Urban ArtWorks, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage youth and communities in the creation of public art that inspires connections and honors their voices.

Thanks to generous 12s, hardworking Safeway Albertsons employees, and leadership from Russell Wilson, Safeway and Russell's Why Not You Foundation, a total of $2.7 million was raised to support pediatric cancer research at Seattle Children's Hospital.
