NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

• Eighth player in NFL history with 150 receptions, 1,700 yards, and 10 touchdowns before his 23rd birthday.

• Tied franchise record with 100 receptions (9th NFL) in 2024, and 10th player in franchise history with 1,000 receiving yards in a season and set single-season career-highs in catches (100), receiving yards (1,130), and touchdowns (6).

• His 367 receiving yards in Weeks 9-12 in 2024 are the third-most over a three-game span in franchise history (Steve Largent, 393 in 1984; Tyler Lockett, 368 in 2020-21).

• Hauled in a career-high 180 receiving yards vs. the L.A. Rams (11/3/24), on seven receptions with two touchdowns, matching John L. Williams for the fourth-highest receiving total in franchise history behind Steve Largent (261), Tyler Lockett (200) and Largent again (191). Largent, Lockett and Smith-Njigba are the only pass-catchers in franchise history with at least 180 yards and multiple touchdown reception in a single game.

• At New England (9/15/24), set career-high in receptions (12) for 117 yards. Seahawks pass-catchers had recorded 10-catch, 100-yard games 21 times in franchise history, but DK Metcalf (10 for 129) and Smith-Njigba (12 for 117) are the first Seahawks duo to accomplish that feat in the same contest.

• In 2023, his 63 receptions were the second-most receptions by a rookie in franchise history, and along with Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, gave Seattle three receivers with 60-plus catches in a season for the first time in franchise history.

• Only rookie since 1960 with two game-winning touchdown receptions in the final minute of the fourth quarter (vs. Cleveland, 10/29; vs. Philadelphia, 12/18). Along with Jake Bobo, vs. Arizona (10/22/23) became the first pair of rookie wide receivers to record a touchdown reception in the same game in franchise history.

COLLEGE: Started 16 of 23 games during his Ohio State career, recording 110 receptions for 1,698 yards and 10 touchdowns. Only played three games during his junior season after suffering a hamstring injury. Enjoyed a breakout 2021 season when he led Ohio State with school-record totals of 95 receptions (fifth-most in Big Ten history) and 1,606 receiving yards (breaking 20-year-old Big Ten receiving yards record (1,545 yards in 2001 by Wisconsin's Lee Evans), on a team that featured first-round NFL Draft picks Garrett Wilson (No. 10 overall to the Jets) and Chris Olave (No. 11 overall to New Orleans). Set Rose Bowl records with 347 receiving yards and a school-record 15 receptions, with three touchdowns and was named offensive player of the game. The 347 receiving yards was also an all-time bowl game record, school single-game record, the second-most in Big Ten history and the fifth-highest total in NCAA Division I history. On the strength of his 2021 season, he finished 18th at Ohio State in career receptions (110) and 21st in receiving yards (1,698). Named third-team AP All-American and third-team all-Big Ten Conference in 2021.

PERSONAL: Attended Rockwall High. Finished the recruiting cycle with a five-star ranking and was a top 50-ranked player nationally according to 247Sports.com. Named the Texas 6A State Player of the Year and was the No. 5-ranked player overall in the state of Texas. Compiled 5,346 career receiving yards and 82 touchdowns in 44 games. In 13 games as a senior, had 104 catches for 2,094 yards and 35 touchdowns. Majored in health sciences.
