The Seahawks inspire 12s, build authentic connections and leave a lasting impact through six areas of focus: Community Response, Youth Empowerment, Future of Football, Military Community, Social Justice and Players & Legends.

The Seahawks are excited to open the Seahawks Community Scholarship, which will be awarded to qualified graduating high school seniors in Washington in 2025. The scholarship, up to $10,000, is to be applied towards tuition or educational expenses and will be paid directly to the college or university in 2026.

All students applying for this scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal resident of Washington state who is at least 18 years old*;( *If you are not 18 years old, but meet the other eligibility criteria, your parent/legal guardian may apply on your behalf)  
  • Currently in your final year of high school;
  • Planning to attend a four-year college or university, community college, or accredited technical/vocational program immediately following graduation (i.e., beginning in Summer or Fall 2026);
  • Require financial assistance to attend college;
  • Demonstrate leadership in school and/or community; and
  • Demonstrate achievement in academics.

2025 SEAHAWKS COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD  

ELIGIBILITY & SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Eligibility: To apply for a 2025 Seahawks Community Scholarship Award ("Scholarship Award"), you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal resident of Washington state who is at least 18 years old*;

*If you are not 18 years old, but meet the other eligibility criteria, your parent/legal guardian may apply on your behalf.  

  • Currently in your final year of high school;
  • Planning to attend a four-year college or university, community college, or accredited technical/vocational program immediately following graduation (i.e., beginning in Summer or Fall 2026);
  • Require financial assistance to attend college;
  • Demonstrate leadership in school and/or community; and
  • Demonstrate achievement in academics.

Directors, officers, members, managers, and employees of Football Northwest LLC d/b/a Seattle Seahawks ("FNW"), the National Football League ("NFL") and its member clubs, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising, promotional, public relations, and fulfillment agencies, consultants, legal counsel, website providers, web masters, and immediate family members (spouses, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and "step" child, wherever they may live) of each are not eligible to apply for the Scholarship Award.  IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP AWARD.  To be eligible to be selected for a scholarship, your submission must be completed and received by FNW in the manner and format designated below. 

2. Submission Period:  Submissions must be submitted between 12:00am Pacific Time (PT) on October 21, 2025 and 11:59pm PT on November 7, 2025 (the "Submission Period").

3. How to Apply: To apply, (i) visit https://www.seahawks.com/promotions/seahawks/2025/community-scholarship-award and (ii) complete and submit the 2025 Seahawks Community Scholarship Award submission form.

By applying as instructed above ("Submission"), you agree that your Submission does not supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information. 

If applying via your mobile device (which service may only be available via select devices and participating wireless carriers and is not required to enter), you may be charged for standard data use from your mobile device according to the terms in your wireless service provider's data plan.  Normal airtime and carrier charges and other charges may apply to data use and will be billed on your wireless device bill or deducted from your pre-paid balance.  Wireless carrier rates vary, so you should contact your wireless carrier for information on your specific data plan.

4. Identity of Entrant: All Submissions must be submitted by the individual entrant (or their parent/guardian in the case of any minor who meets the other eligibility criteria).

5. Selection and Notification of Scholarship Recipient:  On or around November 21, 2025, a panel of judges selected at FNW's discretion will score each Submission based on the following criteria ("Judging Criteria"):

Judging Criteria:

  1. Financial Need (35%);
  2. GPA (35%);
  3. Involvement in School, Sports, and/or Community Service (20%); and
  4. Academic or School-Related Recognitions (10%).

The five (5) individuals with the top scoring Submissions will be deemed the selected scholarship award recipients (each a "Scholarship Recipient" and collectively, the "Scholarship Recipients").

Each Scholarship Recipient (or their parent/guardian in the case of any selected minor) will be notified via email on or around December 5, 2025.  To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FNW may require the Scholarship Recipient (or their parent/guardian) to sign and return, as specified by FNW, a Winner Affidavit to claim the scholarship award.  If (i) the attempted notification is returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address or the selected Scholarship Recipient (or their parent/guardian) does not respond within 72 hours of being notified by FNW; (ii) any required documents are not returned as specified by FNW; or (iii) if the selected Scholarship Recipient is otherwise unable to accept the scholarship award, the scholarship award will be forfeited and will be awarded to the individual with the second top scoring Submission in accordance with the Judging Criteria.

Verification of Scholarship Recipient: EACH SELECTED SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY FNW, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD.  AN APPLICANT IS NOT A SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT UNLESS AND UNTIL APPLICANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND APPLICANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE AND NO FURTHER ACTION IS NEEDED.

6. Scholarship Award: Each Scholarship Recipient will be awarded a ten thousand U.S. dollar ($10,000 USD) scholarship.

Award Restrictions: ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTED SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT (OR THEIR PARENT/GUARDIAN IN THE CASE OF ANY SELECTED MINOR).

7. Disclaimer:  FNW, and any of its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, public relations firms, employees and advertising, fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged submissions; (b) phone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer or communications-related malfunctions or failures beyond FNW or the Released Parties' reasonable control; (c) any Scholarship Award disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor or the Released Parties by non-authorized human intervention; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Scholarship Award.

8. Limitations of Liability; Releases:  By applying for a Scholarship Award, you release Sponsor and all Released Parties from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Scholarship Award or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any scholarship award (including claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. 

9. Use of Scholarship Recipient's Name, Likeness, etc.: Application for a Scholarship Award constitutes permission for FNW and the NFL to use the name, age, likeness, voice, biographical information, photograph, video, and statements of Scholarship Recipient for lawful purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. As a condition of being awarded any scholarship award, except where prohibited by law, Scholarship Recipient (or their parent/guardian in the case of any selected minor) may be required to execute a consent to such use. By applying for a Scholarship Award, you consent to being contacted by FNW for any purpose in connection with this Scholarship Award.  

10. License to Submission: By applying for this Scholarship Award and providing your Submission in connection with a Scholarship Award, you hereby grant to FNW a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, nonexclusive license to publish, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, adapt, edit, modify, translate, create derivative works based upon, and otherwise use and sublicense your Submission, or any portion thereof (including your name and likeness as shown and conveyed in the Submission), in connection with the Scholarship Award and for other advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes, and to incorporate Submissions, in whole or in part, into other works in any manner, form, media or technology now known or later developed. FNW will have no obligation to publish or use or retain any Submission you submit or to return any such Submission to you.  You agree that it is your sole responsibility to obtain all permissions and releases necessary for the grant of the rights contained in this paragraph.  You agree to take, at FNW's expense, any further action (including execution of affidavits, tax forms, and other documents) reasonably requested by FNW to effect, perfect or confirm FNW's rights as set forth above in this paragraph.  You will not be entitled to compensation for any use by FNW, or its agents, licensees or assignees, of your Submission.

11. Privacy:  Any information you provide in connection with the Scholarship Award will be processed in accordance with FNW's Privacy Policy, which is accessible at http://www.seahawks.com/about/privacy-policy.

12. Intellectual Property Notice: All Seahawks-related trademarks are trademarks of Football Northwest LLC d/b/a Seattle Seahawks ("FNW").  The Scholarship Award Eligibility & Submission Requirements and all accompanying materials are copyright © 2025 by FNW.  All rights reserved.

13. Disputes:  EACH APPLICANT AGREES THAT ANY DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION, AND EXCLUSIVELY BY THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE WESTERN DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON OR THE APPROPRIATE STATE COURT LOCATED IN KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON. THESE ELIGIBILITY & SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, WITHOUT REGARD TO CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES.  YOU WAIVE ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THESE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMIT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. 

14. General Conditions: Applicants agree to be bound by these Eligibility & Submission Requirements and by the decisions of FNW, which are final and binding in all respects.  FNW reserves the right to change these Eligibility & Submission Requirements at any time, in its discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Scholarship Award or any applicant's participation in the Scholarship Award should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond FNW's reasonable control affect the administration or security of the Scholarship Award, or FNW otherwise becomes (in its discretion) incapable of granting a Scholarship Award as planned.  Applicants who violate these Eligibility & Submission Requirements, violate any law, rule or regulation in connection with participation in the Scholarship Award, tamper with the operation of the Scholarship Award, or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to FNW, the Scholarship Award or any other applicant (as determined in FNW's discretion) are subject to disqualification from the Scholarship Award.  Any attempt by an applicant or other individual to deliberately damage any website associated with this Scholarship Award or undermine the legitimate operation of the Scholarship Award may be in violation of criminal and civil law and FNW reserves the right to prosecute and seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.  FNW reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to apply for a Scholarship Award.  FNW reserves the right to disqualify any applications received that contain inappropriate or offensive content.  FNW's failure to enforce any term of these Eligibility & Submission Requirements will not constitute a waiver of that provision.  Any provision of these Eligibility & Submission Requirements deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the extent permissible, and the remainder of these Eligibility & Submission Requirements will remain in effect.  The use of the terms "include" or "including" in these Eligibility & Submission Requirements is illustrative and not limiting.
