Seahawks Celebrate Army Reserve's 113th Birthday
Seahawks VP of Community Outreach Mike Flood, Blitz and the Seahawk Dancers visited the 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command to celebrate the Army Reserve's 113th birthday as well as the Month of the Military Child.
Honorary 12 Flag Raising At Camp Murray
The Washington Army National Guard was selected as the honorary 12 Flag raiser for Week 11 vs. the Arizona Cardinals in recognition of their tireless work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Seahawks, along with Blitz and the Seahawks Dancers, went to Camp Murray in Tacoma to raise a 12 Flag to celebrate.
Seahawks Visit Naval Base Kitsap
Seahawks staff, along with Seahawks Dancer Kiana and Blitz, visited Naval Base Kitsap to honor service members as part of Salute to Service Month.
Seahawks Team Up With Delta Air Lines, Lyft And Starbucks To Assemble Care Packages For Veterans
In honor of Veterans Day, employees from the Seahawks, Lyft, Starbucks and Delta Air Lines joined forces on Monday to create 2,000 care packages for service members, veterans and their families. In a partnership with USO Northwest, each care packages included special items from all three organizations including Seahawks pens, thank you cards and lip balm, Starbucks VIA, reusable cups with lids, gum and snacks, Biscoff cookies, Cheez-Its and activity books from Delta.

Wear Blue: Run to Remember Visit Practice
In honor of Salute to Service month, children and mentors from the Wear Blue: Run to Remember non-profit joined the Seahawks to observe practice on Saturday prior to November 3 'Salute to Service' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The children and mentors also had the opportunity to meet with the team, head coach Pete Carroll, and Seahawks Legend Cliff Avril.
Seahawks, USAA Honor Military In 2019 'Change of Command' Ceremony
Seahawks rookies, Blitz, and the Seahawks Dancers teamed up with USAA to honor members of the armed forces at Coast Guard Base Seattle on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 as part of the annual 'Change of Command' ceremony that presents a 12 Flag to the team's honored military unit for the season. The Seahawks welcomed in the Thirteenth Coast Guard District - USCG as their honored unit for 2019 through a 12 Flag hand-off with 62nd Airlift Wing - USAF, which held the honor last year. Pizza Hut and Coca-Cola donated food and beverage for the event.
2019 Wear Blue: Run to Remember Dinner
The Wear Blue organization has a youth mentorship program for children who have lost their parent in Combat overseas. This mentorship program links the child with an active duty service member. This mentor provides his or her youth a glimpse into the life of service that defined his or her fallen parent, while participating in the life affirming action of running. The Seahawks and the Wear Blue organization partnered together in honor of Salute to Service month to put on a dinner event for the Gold Star children. Seahawks Legends Paul Johns and Edwin Bailey joined the children at Cliff House Restaurant in Tacoma, Washington , to speak about questions around adversity and perseverance.

The Seahawks and USAA hosted members of the U.S. Coast Guard at Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Monday, August 12 as part of the team's military appreciation day of 2019 training camp.
