As part of our Inspire Change initiative, we teamed up with Husky Post-Prison Pathways to host an inspiring event highlighting the experiences of women who were formerly incarcerated and providing gifts to families impacted by the system. The event featured a powerful panel of three women who shared their journeys toward pursuing higher education. To close out the day, Seahawks Legend Randall Morris and the Seahawks Dancers brought the energy as they handed out gift cards to 16 families and nearly 40 kids!

And essential items like diapers, bottles, formula and baby clothes were collected and donated to WestSide Baby where Seahawks safety Julian Love and his wife Julia delivered the items and spent the day volunteering. WestSide Baby is an organization that provides basic needs items to families in our community.

On Friday, July 18, the Seahawks were proud to help host the Reclaiming Wellness Conference at Lumen Field, a day dedicated to learning how to improve mental health in communities of color, led and organized by the incredible minds at the Therapy Fund Foundation. Legend Ray Roberts closed out the day sharing his own journey with mental health, and surprised Therapy Fund Foundation Founder and CEO Ashley McGirt-Adair with a $10,000 donation from the Seahawks to support their free therapy fund.

In partnership with Safeway, the Seahawks spent the week addressing food insecurity across Alaska. From assembling meals with Kids Kupboard to raising $12,000 for the Food Bank of Alaska, every effort made a difference. The impact continued with a $100,000 Nourishing Champions Grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska—and over 500 pairs of shoes distributed by Blitz through Kicks4Kids. Together, we made a lasting mark across the region.

The Seahawks donated 120 pairs of cleats to Cle Elum-Roslyn High School and Safeway and Nourishing Champions awarded a $25,000 grant to go towards the student athletes' access to health and nutritious food.
